First Grow - Bianca Feminized - Soil - LED

Yeah, it's hard to tell, but I doubt it's too few nutes. Could be nutrient burn -- which shows up right along the serrated edge of new leaves. Can you get a photo in ordinary light? The leaf colour looks a little funky to me, overall. But, please remember, I barely know what I'm doing :)

If anything, judging by what you've all said, I would say slight nutrient burn. Or like ddfuji suggested, maybe they did this because we were spraying with water. Who knows? They look great today. :)

And here's a pic of our new babies - they should all be up by the end of the day.

5th day alive:

The babes are putting out their second set of leaves.

Anybody have an opinion on whether we should bury up to the cotyledons when we decide to transplant them?

Here's a picture of the test babes:

We topped (top 2) and FIM'd (bottom) 2 or 3 days ago to see if we could successfully do so. The attempted-FIM'd baby not looking so good...the other 2 look great though :)

Took these pictures last night when we transplanted the babies into 5-gallon buckets of Happy Frog. 12 days old.

We turned the humidifier off, and the humidity has been staying at 70% or higher. The temperature is around 79-81 now that we have both lights turned on, and the low at night is 68-70. The lights are 22" from the plants.
Today we set the exhaust fan to come on for 15 minutes each hour, except during lights off. Will update with how it affects temp/humidity for future reference. The box fan goes off during lights off and is facing the wall.

22nd day of life. We are having some minor issues, so if anybody has advice that would be AWESOME

(Bianca babies)

(Middle row, one is the healthiest)

Most of them look healthy but all of them have some damage to the edges of their lowest leaves (nutrient burn?).
One of them has it the worst and is our smallest plant right now:

(You can see it on the top and bottom leaves)

Last but not least, here is a picture of a baby which we ripped a little :( I want to keep track of its growth but we think it will be fine

The exhaust was lowering the humidity so the humidifier is coming on to keep it around 60%. The temperature stays around 80 still.

Fresh air is a must in my opinion. I plan to have my exhaust on while the light is on, and turn it off at night time.

Thanks for the advice. We just changed our air to cycle 15 min on /15 min off while lights on. They are still pretty small, you think that is enough?

Hi, ninetoes! This is a Christmas Eve drive-by greeting :)

Thank you! Merry xmas!

Merry xmas! Our babies are 21 days old. We topped 5 of them, on (I think) the 18th and 19th days of life. The runt isn't looking so great; they're all a bit nutrient burnt and even yellowish on the newer leaves... needless to say, we won't be using Happy Frog for little plants anymore. Here are some close-up pics.

We are hoping the last one starts growing soon..

Temp: 79 daytime, 69 night
Humidity: 50-70% range
Exhaust: 15 min on/off cycle during lights on
Box fan on during lights on

Within a few days after xmas our babies were all getting pretty nutrient burnt. We did a little research and realized our temps were getting too high (up to 85 where our thermometer was sitting).

We now have the exhaust on at all times during lights on, and the temperature is staying around 76-77. We also have to keep the humidifier on in order to maintain about 50% (we could probably get it higher but we would have to refill the humidifier more frequently). We mostly just want to keep it above 40%.

We have a probe from the thermometer sitting under the light and it appears to be about 3 degrees higher under the light than where the thermometer is sitting (just above the lights). So the temperature is 78-81 degrees under the light during lights on now.

Now that we have our temps under control the plants are starting to all look better. But in these pictures you will see where the leaves got extremely burnt a few days ago.

It appears the runt has some new growth and is gonna pull through. Hopefully none of them go hermie on us..
