First Grow - 600 Watt - Northern Lights Autos - AN Nutes

It's nice to have a backup plan if needed. When I was looking to start growing these guys at my local grow store pointed me that way due to its simplicity. It was a great purchase.

Well if my ballast dies I'm screwed and will need to get a loner from the store. I can't move the girls and that T5 will not keep my tent over 65 deg when it's on. I mean it's nice to have two fully functional rooms. But I like how you think.

Def feels good to know that you have a back up. I still have my 600 watt set up that I'm going to get a cool tube or hood for. But for now if my ballast or some thing goes wrong I have a few extra bulbs and all. Prolly when I get a hood I will get a led as well just to see what there about. I was just worried if one burned out and I did not have a back up even tho I have warranys I would still be pretty mad and my plants would suffer

T5 is a great light for the price. Cooltubes are nice but bulb changing sucks if your ducting is built well with no leaks. Dial in a 600 and the jump to 1000 will be seamless.

I will post picks of my hood tonight boss its pretty nice but heavy and my 440 fan keeps it cool pretty easy. The main thing I changed was makeimg sure kewl air was being sucked in to my room. I was thinking to ditch the tent at some point but it seems to be working ok for now

Yep, that's an overkill. 0 deg delta for you tent is key. Also, tent helps keep smell under control.

Slayer looking good in those fabric pots !! Are those the actual name brand pots ? Or they an off brand? Just wondering gift the off brand is the same quality as the name

They are smart pot 5 gallon. I have some gray ones with handles I forget the brand name but I think there all pretty good

I was looking into smart pots, is seems that they are the choice for outdoor grows for all summer. But indoor >3 months is not enough time for these pots make a difference. But I could have been told bad info.

Well I'm growing in an airpot, a fabric store bought bag, and I think a hot 5 gallon bucket. I want to drill a 5/8 hole about 2in above the bottom correct? And then I'm just gonna fill 50/50% coco/perlite??

I'm not sure man honestly I would think you would need a few holes and some in the bottom to get good drainage. I also feel like 50% perlite is a bit much coco is already pretty airy if I'm not mistaken.

What lineup are you using? I'm using FF. look at ur feeding schedule by manufacturer. I use open sesame, beastly bloom, and change ching with big bloom, grow big and tiger bloom. Based on you flowering times, you will use when needed. I was using OS, in late veg and 1st week flower, BB for 3 weeks then CC.

Well you def need p &k in flowering. But two much is not good. Are ur plants autos?

I know a guy who does pk thru out bloom and another guy who does pk boost 3 times during bloom
