Hello everyone!!!

Time for an update. Lil Cheezy is growing nicely. She has stopped her stretch and started to put on mass

I can see trichs barely beginning to form on the sugar leafs. She smells like a citrusy skunk...lets say you and a skunk were at the bar and he's pounding double screwdrivers then burps in your face...that's what she smells like.

I think her footprint is just about the right size for my light. Ive stopped trying to bend and manipulate her limbs and am just letting her grow without interference.
The only reason for this is my fear of snapping something off as the last couple tweeks I tried to give her ended up in some duct tape repair sooooo.

Shes nice and spread out with a fairly open middle area for good light penetration.

Shes drinking about 2 gallons of nutes every 3 days. I've currently got the PPM's at 1500 and the PH stays a very stable 5.6-5.8 without adding any up or down juice. Her roots are spaghetti sized or bigger.

It's amazing to watch these buds forming

I'll have to measure her tomorrow to see exactly how much she stretched. I know when I flipped her she was 12" above the main flux arms I'd estimate shes 22-24" tall now so 10-12 inches of stretch.

Hello everyone!!! Time for an update.

Here she is at day 39 of flower

Watching the colas form is just awesome.

I did a heavy defol today right before the pictures. I'm trying to take LA's advice and get the bases of the colas to get fat. They are definatly thinner twords the bottom. Prolly the last defol she will get before the chop but we will see.

The colas are 70-90% filled in. Whats there is nice and dense. I think it may be time to use LA's back building trick.

PH is stable. I tried to up her to 1600ppm but started to see signs of burn so I diluted down to 1500 and all seems well.

Hello everybody!!!! Welcome to day 46 of flower and....HARVEST DAY!!!!!

A lot has happened in the last few days. A family member is coming to stay with us for a couple months. This was unexpected and has forced me to harvest Lil Cheezy early. Now when I first recieved the news and the realization of what it meant for my garden I was bummed.

After harvesting her though I am totally stoked!!!!

This evening we made it to the end of our journey. This update is very pic heavy.

My wife and I managed to chop and trim her up in about 4 hours.

The yield was better than expected. I have a scale on the way so I can get some weights but dry weight is what im interested in. I'll report back after its cured for a couple weeks.

I really wanted to let her flower for 2 more weeks but again I'm happy with the outcome.

So I'm considering my first grow a success

Quick update...buds are drying nicely, almost ready to jar them up. It's been raining and humid as hell around here so not drying quite quick enough for me. I'll post weights when I transfer over to jars.

Mold...Mold...Mold...Mold...Mold...



So much rain. I kept looking out my window for signs of Noah and his ark. No matter where I went. No matter how high or low I could go my RH was 90%+ I was forced to jar the buds I put 2" of rice at the bottom of my large jars for a dessicant and hoped for the best. I burped the jars daily and gave the buds a stir. Everything seemed to be going well till about a week later....Mold....Mold....Mold



One jar I had just the tops of some of my priomo colas. These buds survived and are a large part of how I'm handling this mentally...they are very good smoke. Smooth smoking and heady cerebral vibes with a fast acting head change. She's not a creeper, more like a city bus and the unwary pedestrian BAM!!!

I do of course have a plan B

At the first sign of mold I shoved all of the possibly infected buds into 1 big ass jar and threw it in the freezer to prevent any further damage. The buds were not damaged by rot or anything. This was a PM mold that was on the surface.

So plan B is to try my hand at making some BHO aka Butane Honey Oil

I have read that i can extract the THC goodness out of the bud and during the process filter out with a .02 micron syringe filter out any mold spores that may be present. .02 microns is bacteria small so I'm hopeful this will be the trick to getting something smokeable from Cheezy's moldy wreckage.

I've been reading up on BHO extractions for the last week and think I have sorted out a solid process. I'll start another thread for that when the time comes. I still have the inlaw living with us and cant exactly go mad scientist with beakers, buchner filters and blast tubes with him hanging out lol.

Dry yields were pretty good for a short grow

122 grams of BUD trimmed from the big lumber and at a smokeable state...if you ignore the mold

51 grams of tops. Primo smokeables. Wonderful taste and very smooth smoking. Not affected by mold. I'm keeping these to smoke.

thats 6.1 OZ of buds folks!!!

I also pulled almost 2 oz of trimmings that I was planning on bubble hashing but I guess I'll BHO it as well.

Hoping to pull 3-4 grams of BHO per ounce so 18-24 grams from what I've got.

Almost an ounce of Errl ought to keep me baked for a while lol
