when is it ok to trim first few leaves? false set, single set, three leaf set. or best to leave them until they die? not planning on doing so until 5 ,7,9 leaf sets have matured.

Those leaves are what supplies your plant with the energy it needs to thrive (photosynthesis). Besides providing stress removing leaves can stunt growth and affect yield. leave them alone till they fall off.

Dumb question? Where was the dumb question? When I was in basic training a drill seargent once said..."the only dumb question is a unasked question". I'd rather you asked instead of destroying your grow.
