First Ever Grow!

cheers mate, think its just been me not really payin attention, took me while to find out when the plants were needing watered or when they were needin fed, kinda getting the hang of it but the most important thing is to be patient and the plant will let you know if theres something wrong

wish i had a better cam the big one has at least 25 bud spots above the canopy and the three little ones have 8 or 9 big bud spots at canopy level, honestly think there gonna be monsters, if these do well and produce good bud, ima stick to these seeds for a few grows get some experience with growing before doin loadsa different strains techniques etc never grew before now but its addictive, think ill be doin it for a long time

its a 30 litre pot miwa, honestly its 15 inch deep n 15 inches across the top, the plant is 4 ft tall making the pot look tiny lol
 
bought 2 30 w cfl 2700k and hangers got them on the top bud of the biggest plant hopefully stop it stretching to much if not im gonna buy another 2 hngers and 6400k bulbs n start a new grow in the bathroom cupboard 3 weeks before the end of my first so there goin straight into flower meaning less time between grows

You know going straight to flower will cut your yeld...might be fun to grow...i'm going to practice on training tech...i'll probably be growing more sativas than indicas..those 2700k will effect the stretching...can't you move your plants closer to the light?...
 
didnt say i was going straight to flower :S, got the lights on top of the biggest plant either side of the biggest bud hopefully get it massive then once i get more lights im gonna start 4 more plants in my bathroom cupboard, veg em for 3 weeks so i can throw em straight in my big tent to flower

It's a OG Kush phenotype we selected, with a special pinkish hue on the calyx and hairs, a truly pretty lady. The flowering time indoors is 9 weeks, producing up to 900 grams per square meter (under 1000 Watt of light per square meter). It's a good plant for SCRoG (growing through a net).
Outdoors it finishes by end September, and can produce up to 900 grams per plant (with very large plants). It has a very nutty, sweet flavor, and a stoned couch-locking effect.
It is a good plant for beginners.

Haha..well i guess you can call a 4 foot plant short an branchy...when you are looking at 8+ foot plants...so your harvest is when??...my flowering period is 12 weeks...going to veg 7 weeks...thats a 19 week grow..Dammit my plants are not in veg yet.thats ok..when i finish this grow it will be time to start another outside grow...
 
7 weeks of flowering left for recommended timeline , but maybe a bit longer been flowering for 15 days now so will order new seeds soon n soil etc should be ready by xmas eve or xmas day lol should be a good xmas :D
 
Looks good. The flowering times are really suggested. Through genetics and strain, you can have a plant that can take weeks longer than the recommended flower time. Sometimes it will mature early and grow from there. Like #1 of mine matured way early and trichomes on it are crazy and #2 is pretty far behind. She is at the point #1 was about 1-2 weeks ago.

You will know when to pull em. Pay attention to the trimchomes and colors and you will be fine. :thumb:

TOG is right...you control the veg stage...the plant controls the flowering stage..watching chomes color change is the key...
 
You can pick up a 60-100x digital microscope online for like 15USD. Most growers have the same one for the most part. Check amazon or google, you will see it.

Jewelry's loupe...is the best...next pocket micro-scope from Radio Shack...or if you don't mind pulling buds off your plant...Celestron 44104 500x power advanced biological microscope from amazon...
