I use these.

I mix up about a quart because that's how big my sprayer is.
Just a tiny bit, like ¹/⁴ tsp of each.

So you inspired me to get those ingredients Nunya. How long will it stay good mixed up in the spray bottle?

The plant looks good but is really short...Id start with putting the light up more so they have a reason to grow up instead of just out. Could be the heat keeping them down too.

Also, change from 24/7 to a real light schedule you would find in their natural environment like 18hrs on or if you want 20hrs on....you could even get away with 22hrs on, i assume, as long as they have SOME rest. Important chemical processes happen in the dark for plants...different processes need to occur to keep it healthy.

...and what is up with this fad of using pipe cleaners as tie downs? You know those traps hair, fuzz, germs, bacteria and mold spores and then keep them at the perfect spot on your plant to spread, right? Real tie-downs from the grow shop are way cheaper and more available.

hello thank you for the advice I will defiantly not use pipe cleaners again, when is it okay to remove them? And also my plant seems to be a little sick I feel like it’s nitrogen toxicity but I could be wrong , I switched the flower light on November 4th , I followed feeding measurements from another article to mix 3ml calmag , 4 ml of floramicro and 5 ml of florabloom per gallon , any advice of what I should do?

Hi Drew, can you get some pics under regular light please?

Yes I will but my worrie was the curling of the new growth and yellowing on the edges of the leafs , I flushed it last night and defoliated ( don’t know if that was a mistake) but I’m learning it’s my first time so this is what she looks like now she is 43 days old today

Maybe a couple of things. Do you know the ph of your feedings? (aer you in soil, coco,) How do you manage watering? . Pretty healthy though.

They still look over watered to me a bit. The leaves should not be drooping over like that. They should be pointing towards the light.

so best thing I should do is not touch it for a while and wait to see if they lift and worry about flushing the neuts out and leaving it for the week to dry up ? And maybe feed lighter on the nitrogen? thanks!

Also I found this on one of my seedlings , it’s growing slower then others , the one side is curling a bit and those rust coloured spots appeared in the middle of those few leafs , was last watered and had first feeding of 2 ml cal mag , 2ml micro and 4 ml of bloom per gallon , all plants fed the same all in the same soil promix and super soil , 3 gallon pots strain is speedyboom auto from Canuck seeds and was planted on October 20th , shes under a 600 watt led light and is the only plant showing these signs , should I flush ? Or wait till It’s been a week and then flush and then feed? wanna catch it early as I can just not sure why this one is having the issue

am trying to find something like these on amazon that site will cost me $50 for shipping alone I found these ( see pic ) just not an aloe one like that , is there anything on amazon that I can buy to replace that ? Or does any other kind of organic 100% pure aloe powder work such as this ( see last pic) sorry for all the questions but I’m really interested in this , would I still follow my usual feeding schedule once a week then use this spray after a few days after just once a week ?

Sorry about the late reply, You can remove the pipe cleaners whenever I would assume, or if some are stuck and your worried about damage just leave them...your already in flower no sense in breaking a stem.

The plant at first glance looks over-watered and possibly starting to be over-nutriated (light green on some newer growth edges, maybe too much of a micro-nutrient). Google (or search the forums) the symptoms, I cant right now and dont have my book handy....just search for drooping leaves, light new growth. Im willing to bet its some type of over-nutrient though...you could flush it with a few gallons of water and let it sit for a week or two and see how it does....after you verify the symptoms, of course.

I think theres a plant sick chart around here somewhere.

Hey guys so what I did was have it about 8 days to get nice and dried out after a flush , fee it yesterday ( 3ml calmag, 4 ml of micro and 5 of the bloom per gallon ) using 2 gallons in my 7 litre pot and she perked up nice , seem a bit bushy in the middle tho , I removed all the ties attached to expert the one holding the main cola down ( made sure it’s not choking her) and now she looks like this ( see pic ) any tips what I should do from here? Just continue that water schedule and leave her be? she had a huge defoliation before the flush ( I’m a newbie and experimenting also have 4 more younger plants growing in another closet , she is 53 days old today , usually they grow for 80 to 90 days? I could be wrong everyone says something different and every strain has its own genetics , I’m gonna post the profile on my seed I bought maybe you guys can give me some savvy advice! Thanks in advance!!! :)
