I think it is worth a try. I bet you'd get a pretty strong second time around. Maybe just leave it in the heated butter for longer the second time. No, I’ve always just tossed it in the trash, but getting a second run does sounds enticing.
Excellent Wayne. Something about the name. I've never met a Wayne that was a jerk. Yes, I would love any recipes or the like. I'll be starting slow as I've never cooked anything with weed included but look forward to it. I think I will have plenty to go around with the 3 plants i have. You’ve already got some great help with the link provided by lady C. However I’ll let you know how I do it if you are still interested.
1. Put the week on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for about 1 hour at 180.
2. Put the buds into a pan with a stick or two of butter and simmer it for idk 10 minutes. Don’t ever actually let it bubble. Just get it warm. And mash up the buds while heating.
3. Strain the butter and discard the plant material.
4. Cook whatever you like that takes oil or butter, using the proper amount that the recipe calls for.
5. Enjoy!
What you need as far as potency or the amount of weed to use is a science, not up to your discretion until you know what you are doing. Because you can over do it easily and no one likes to be too stoned and stuck with it. Those cookies were from scratch but you can start with a pack ready to make from the grocery store. I’ll be happy to share my recipe, simple sugar cookies, if you’d like when I get home. I’m out for the day on the 4wheeler now.
Always glad to meet a Wayne, welcome aboard! Your plant looks very nice and frosty.
Just saw this and will get you some recipe asap today. 3plants will provide much to cook with, save all trim aside from big fan leaves. Anything with frost can be used.Excellent Wayne. Hijack away my friend I could not care less, let the conversations flow! Not trying to hijack OP thread, but thank you @Lady Cannafan for the direction. I will search that out today.
Do I sound like a bot? I don't mean to. This song is growing on me. I was listening to jazz before this and just as I finished reading your post my music ended, allowing this track to play. I like it.
Final Easter before I make my conclusions. Not as messy as the last because I trimmed fan leaved before chopping this time
No, you sound fine. Glad you like the music! Its all music I like a lot myself too. And you quoted my post before I had time to fix the words lol, I'm shaking my fist at the computer screen.Do I sound like a bot? I don't mean to. This song is growing on me. Great work buddy
Ended up with 750 grams more or less. Somewhere between 1.5-1.7 pounds. Everything trimmed and dry and in to cure. Therefore this concludes the season here and this journal. I’m starting a new one very soon with some RSQ seeds indoors over the cold Maine winter. Will see if I can do it. The grapes ‘n crème(?) turned out 450 grams on its own. The aroma and taste is great and the stone is relaxing and fun. This turned out to be my best grow. Next year I will have three plants in ground and hopefully will get near a pound each plant. That would blow my mind.
Wow you can literally see each trichome separately, how big they are
Here’s some close ups this morn. Some mighty colorful plants I must say. Some getting near the end finally. The second photo shows very white trichomes let alone cloudy. Full sun today will dry the dew for me to re-inspect.
