Ok, so finally on here with some pics. These were taken Sunday 5/24, seeds are aproxamately 12 days old. On to the pics...

The grow room, 2 fans for air circulation, a thermometer and 125W floro

There is an idea on how far the light is kept from the plants...i try to keep the light as low as possible for the maximum lumens for plants.

Hope thats a good start.

Sweet...ill start feeding next watering with 1/4 strength solution to get them started out slow. I will be using the botanicare line of products, Liquid Karma, Pure Blend Pro Grow in the beginning, all organic.

Im tuned in. New to the site and loving it!! Checked out some of your other threads. +rep. I was wondering what kind of soil you were using, and are you using it straight out of the bag, or mixing it?

I am using Fox farm ocean forest soil mixed with fox farm organic potting soil. Half and half...when I transplant to bigger pots they will be put in fox farm light warrior soil.

Im starting my own soon and am looking for all the pointers I can get. I think I would like to start with soil and then attempt hydro..... H just seems a little to complicated for a beginner.

Dont bottom em with anything...light warrior drains perfectly from my experience. Hydro is good for yield but i will never do it again, so much harder and unforgiving. The organic buds are so much more potent and flavorful anyway

You know... I have noticed that hydro buds seem to have a chemical aftertaste, but then again, Ive never had any really good 'ponic MJ before. Organic foods (most of them) tase better than non, so in theory, the same should apply for MJ. I dig the way you think Berry!

Ok so here is a pic update...5 days after my other update. Plants are looking great. Nodes are nice and tight which means they are close enough to the light.

Everything still looking great. Feeding starts next watering.

Thanks guys for all the kind words...i fed the babies for the first time today. Definately needed, some of the lowest leaves on the biggest plants were getting a little bit of yellowing. They got 5ml liquid karma, 5 ml hygrozyme and 5ml pure blend pro grow. Going out of town for a day or 2 so hopefully when I get back everything will be great.

Also I was wondering what other peoples thoughts were on vegging with a 600 HPS? I know its not the correct spectrum for vegging plants but soon the 12 plants are going to be to big to hold under just one 125 floro. Anybody ever tried vegging with a HPS? Or should I just go get some cheap CFL's from home depot and create my own light fixtures

They will do fine under an HPS...I know more then one grower that uses HPS for their full grow.....

Nice irie, thanks for the good info. I got a cool tube so ill probably hang it horizontally till they get big enough then hang it vertically for the flowering.
