Feral's Journal Of Insanity & Some Growing

First step will be trying to keep it alive, then comes the sexing, then I need to throw it into flower to see what it does but hopefully its something that will carry on in the genetics, could be the next ABC or Ducksfoot ;) who knows it may even grow out of it, either way its something ive never seen before :thumb:

Yeah if all goes well I will do a bit of breeding with it, don't want to get too far ahead of myself though, only a small seedling so far, will probably grow out of it after a few sets of nodes (if it grows any  )

Must be getting soft Feral, you used to be the mutant nazi. Lmao. Worth seeing what it does tho hey...

Yeah I'm just getting to the stage now where I find it hard to kill any of them  It cant hurt to see what they are made of, one thing I have noticed is the different plants usually make up for it in another way, My Jillybean #2 I had that self topped and grew weird turned out to be a killer smoke, just wasn't what I was looking for in the JB's, probably twice as potent but didn't have the flavor. Killer Queen is somewhat the same, gorgeous plant but a 1 off phenotype that has insane resin production but looks nothing like any other KQ or its parents, major throwback ;) But saying all that if I find a mutant feminised seed I will probably just toss it lol, only so interested in these because they are in the regular mango seeds :thumb:

Yeah curiosity always gets the better of me too, its that "what if". Ive seen bin material and you give it a better go and then it knocks your socks off. Got a few that i just wont give up on just in case. Tho i figure once youve grown one in perfect(ish) health and it dont shine then you can let go fairly confidently.

That's it man, ive had a few ive almost given up on that have come back looking amazing, the mutant SSSDH I have here is looking better than the one that wasn't mutant to begin with  also got a Black Widow right now that really looks weird in veg, finding all sorts lately

Ill be watching to see how the black window looks if it makes the cut somewhere. Guess ill be comparing it to the white widow. Always liked white widow and damn i smoked a lot of it, but never found the stone long lasting. Like 1/2 hour hang time. Others may disagree, that was just my observation. May have been a tolerance build up thing too.

The leaves look very similar to the White Jack ;) I have 3 of them so they will defo be in the flower tent soon, probably the next round of fillers :thumb: all look pretty uniform but one has weird bumpy leaves, could even be nutrient related, may not like the same feed as everything else ;) The White Jack has some good lasting highs, not sure if that comes from the JH though, have not grown a pure one of either as I don't want to run something that's not legit, so many of them out there and no true representations, probably got about 10 different breeders White Widow seeds here  as far as I know the Black widow is essentially the same thing as WW, just had a rename when they moved from GHS to Mr Nice, pretty sure its the same genetics, maybe different phenotypes used :thumb:
I have 2 standout plants in veg now I'm really excited for which are coming up soon too, waiting to take clones, the Thai Buddha is sexy as fuck and also have a Cindy Haze which is looking out of this world, Double Serrated all the way up the blades of her leaves :) will try grab a few veg pics tonight, been a while

Yeah always finding strange things, defo to do with the numbers, tbh if I was running single seeds and came across them I probably would just turf them as id rather run something normal if running low numbers, with the amount I have going I can have 20 mutants going and still have other plants I can move to flower if needed, also helps running more so I can remove the males and still have enough plants to fill the gaps

Yeah always a lot of freaks ,and most either grow out to normal leaves and normal nodes or in some cases it continues on .
I have a mutant strain of my own that's a real beauty the mutant pheno is 1 in 4

I'm yet to find one that stays mutant, they eventually come good in the end, I don't want to be breeding mutants but looking for good qualities I can breed into other strains :) Funny though, out of the known mutant strains of ABC and Ducksfoot, they are both from Aus

Sour White Jack... I would buy those beans. Well done Feral. :thumb:

Thanks mate, I'm really happy with them so far, even the males look top notch :thumb: Kinda spewin I didn't keep that Sour D male as id love to make some more, didn't really get that many seeds from the first round, going to come down to F2's and WJ bx, hopefully will produce similar results ;) I may even drop the rest of the Sour D's in down the track and hopefully find another male as studly as the first to make the cross again, the WJ mother will always be around my garden :passitleft:

Yeah, i know next to nothing about breeding, but looking at those pics I would say you are on to something special there.
