Feral's Journal Of Insanity & Some Growing

Sounds like a Haze to me, saying that though i was only a teen through the 90's so its defo the weed i would have been smoking at the time id say, was called Hydro back then  (probably all grown outdoor though lol)
The breeding idea is a good one but gotta have a few solid strains under our belt before can even think of starting something ;) tbh with all the breeding, then testing each strain etc we are at least a few years off being able to do anything :thumb:

I haven't grown any commercial haze strains so I don't really have a clue  I'd say you have more of an idea than me so thanks for the kind of confirmation :thumb: Yeah I know what you mean but hey good things take time :high-five: Even if it takes 5 years I don't really mind. Just food for thought really, ever since the legalization of medical cannabis in Australia I've been thinking of ways get into the industry and this way seems like the easiest so far :thumb:

Seeds.. anybody want some seeds, lol.. got about 3000 green crack x sour diesel f2 to throw away, only need to keep a few hundred :rofl:

I'll take 100  So many seeds bro :cheer:

Nice looking plants bro, those little ones look like they need a little food. That KQ as always is looking immaculate :thumb:
Disaster in my tent, used outdoor soil that i thought would be fine for starting these seedlings.....turns out fungus gnat larvae ate 5 of my popped seeds. Dug them out and found all these tiny white worm things all over the seeds. Lost both the KK and 3 fucking rhino cookies. Going to go back to what I used to do and just go get seedling soil from bunnings. Like they say, If it ain't broke don't fix it. I tried to fix it with using outdoor soil and look what i got, a big kick in the nuts and a reminder to just use what i always do when starting seeds. So all up there are 3 yorkers and 2 RC. Thank fuck that at least these ones survived or i would have wasted more money than i already have :rip::bitingnails:

Thanks mate ;) yeah the little ones are actually looking a lot better than they were  They got hit hard with pests when they were in their seedling pots, finally starting to get a bit of color back through them ;) the rest of the vert walls need a good cleanup, have not stripped any dead leaf from them all for a while, also helps if i feed them a bit more often  always gets late and i think "ill do it tomorrow", never gets done
Shit mate that sux to hear, have lost quite a few that way myself, kinda the reason i have not been germinating straight into soil lately, only have cheap shit from Bunnings here ive had some issues with, one bag is good then the next is up the shit lol. Glad to hear you didn't lose the lot of them though, should still end up with a couple of decent plants to breed with ;)

Massive update as usual. How many hours a day do you spend gardening bud?

Looking good man.

Top skills Feral

Is your flower tent 150cmx150cm, and how many 315cmh are you running in which ballasts and shades?

Have been following your diarys for a while now and thinking of changing my set uo to yours ;-)

Also were you only running a 600hps in a dr150 and getting great growth i always thought you needed 50 watts per square foot for flower, you are smashing it :)

Keep up the good work.

Thanks bro, i spend as much time as i can get in there while lights are on, maybe about 4-6 hours a day ;)

Thanks SirGreeny and welcome bud ;) i am currently running a 150cm x 150cm tent with 2x Hi-Par 315w CMH Sunstorm Horizontal kits, which come with the ballast, globe, adapter and hood :thumb: I would really like to change my tent soon to a more rectangle shape for easier access and better light spread, i think a 315w per 1m x 1m space would be perfect ;)
Yeah before i got the CMH setup i was running a single 600w HPS setup and having awesome results too, the Growlite OG hood really helped with that and also having a nanolux OG ballast allowed me to switch it up to 110% so getting 660w out of a 600w bulb hehe. Running that hood did have its disadvantages though, being a vertical hood it had great penetration but very little light spread :thumb:

No worries :thumb: Haha really? Damn pests ruining our plans of growing DAMN THEM TO HELL  A bit of dead leaf never hurt no one really, not feeding them though ;) Having a garden like yours I would put it off to  "mannnnn i can't be fucked watering all those" I know right its pretty shit, especially since me and my partner both thought about getting the seedling soil and just went against our instincts...idiots :rofl: Ah well at least we have these ones and on the bright side the little fuckers kinda weeded out the weak ones (being optimistic lol). I go for the i think it's Osmocote seedling/cutting mix soil. It's really good for starting seeds and also with clones. I mean it says it in the name so it seems obvious but it could be shitty so yeah that's my 2 cents on that soil. I'm hoping that the theory of the larvae eating the weaker ones is true and we have the best of the bunch :thumb:

I keep putting off this mite treatment, bought the stuff like 2 months ago with good intentions  The bigger plants are just shrugging it off like nothing is happening, dead leaf here and there but that's about it, I find when the plant is in good health the pests have a lot harder time attacking ;) Main reason i wanna treat is because of them seedlings, if i didn't up pot them when i did i can guarantee i would have lost the lot, only lost one Grimace OG (which i still haven't given up hope on lol). Still got a few gnats around pissing me off too

Feral mate as always totally rockin :) hats off to ya :)

Thanks mate :high-five:

Think you'll like that SSSDH, I've got a couple hanging around. Potent. I'm still waiting to catch a male. :)

Totally going to copy that wall one of these days.

KQ is wow.

Thanks CS :thumb: Cant wait to get the SSSDH big enough to grab a few clones from, they look to be different phenos which should give me a bit of selection :) Just hope i can pick between the two
The Vert walls are working out awesome, perfect way to get a few more plants in the tent to choose from, i think if i took them out id be pushing to fit 2-3 plants in the same space :)
The KQ is my baby hehe, she is spot on, everything I'm looking for in a plant, definitely has a permanent spot in my garden :)
