My plants have had red stems since noah was a boy, hasnt seemed to hinder anything,
just the way they are i think. There's another guy on here growing northern lights
and the stems on the plant are BRIGHT red. Looks like theyve been painted.haha.

Hey feral, if i start a plant inside in veg for a while then put it outside, i'm guessing
she'd just go straight into heading and turn to shit. Were coming into winter soon here
too. Any thoughts?

the vertical walls a good idea, shame theyre so expensive for what they are. Good idea
for maximising space though hey. Are the drippers hooked up to a pump?
 
Id love to get my hands on some NL at some point, have not been able to find a pure one yet or one that's not a feminized copy or a renamed something else :rofl: NL can be quite a colorful strain so red stems wouldn't surprise me one bit :)

Depending on how long you were thinking as it can get too cold over here to have them out in winter which is only really 2 months away :thumb: I don't think its really the cold that gets them but the frost kills them almost instantly, about 5 years ago i tried to keep a plant alive outside over 2 seasons and was looking great till the frost got her, a greenhouse might be a solution :thumb: I put an Incredible Bulk clone outside the other week and she has been getting hammered with rain, will be bringing her back in under lights soon in the pollen tent, going to harvest all the seeded plants in there over the next week or so ;)

I don't have the drippers hooked up right now, I'm just hand watering which i need to start doing a bit more frequently so will be buying a new pump soon to hook it all up to, they all connect together so only need to plug in 1 hose and good to go :thumb: would be easy to make your own vertical wall, just need a sheet of steel mesh attached to a wall with some steel loops that hold your pots, could then run a dripper system easy enough or water by hand :)

I have a strain of Bubba's gift, that turns purple at about 7 weeks into bloom, and has purple stems, even when a clone. And I don't know what it means, I know It's the smoothest weed I grow, don't have a taste that I can describe but very smooth, and very potent. Make's me forget why I'm in the kitchen !! Purple colas are nice bud porn !! She's starting to purple up at wk. 7. She's not happy with me for feeding her tap water tonight. She don't know yet, that she'll never eat again.

Gave all of the veg tent plants a good neem treatment, hopefully should sort the little buggers out :thumb: also tied down the lower row of the vertical wall for the second time, they are powering on, while i was at it i fed them ;)
Changed out both reservoirs in the flower tent, found a couple of small light leaks so fixed them, bit of tape had fallen off so i replaced it with stronger stuff :thumb: So that means tonight i wont have to do much at all in both tents, just feed the soil plants and that's about it, plenty of time for photos :)

really really nice, man. often looked at/thought about all that extra vert space and wasted light and thought "there's gotta be some way to utilize that space..." i hate waste.

Incredible bulk, is now standing in at 26" tall and is at day 8 of 12/12 ;) That means 10" over the last 8 days :thumb:

Awesome girls feral. It's always a pleasure seeing your setup and your updates. Taking down notes on your cmh. I'm planning on getting cobs for my 4x4 or my new 3x3 flower tent I just got. Tryna keep temps and bills down. Might have to invest in some of those yoyos too seems like it works great even tho I like the flexibility some plants are just gonna grow wild. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the awesome compliments mate :) the cmh is performing well above my expectations, some of the cobs i have seen on here though are doing an amazing job, i cant see myself going back to any type of LED though, im quite happy with these lights :) Yoyos make life so much easier, when they work :rofl: make sure you don't get the cheap brand, when a price seems too good to be true there is always a catch lol, when they do work though it helps with flimsy branches or rearranging branches, can be easily adjusted, so much easier than tying shit up and having to re tie it every time the plant grows :rofl:
