LoL I have had that sign up for about 2 years now, usually I don't get people knocking on my door but living in an apartment block would be expecting that. I know what you mean about the power usage brother, for us in SA if you use more than 600kwh a month the bill goes from R1.80 to about R2.30. I was looking at those CMH lights but would be like $500 for the light, then another $120-150 for shipping then customs and taxes rapes the living bejesus out of you, which will also be about $150-180, so looking at about $800-850 for one light....LoL that is twice what I make in a month :rofl::rofl: those buds are looking glorious bru, I would also not go for CFL again they just don't do the job we want in the end. Power costs here are through the roof, costs me roughly $1200 for 3 months, with the CMH it has gone down to about $1000 ;) I got a package deal with my lights, both ballasts, hoods and globes cost me about $1400, saved about $200 off what they are selling for over here :)
 
That's a big power bill mate.. I'm shattered with my $150-$180 a month :rofl: I looked around and got the cheapest supplier.. also can get cheap power at night, have to apply though..
 
I'm running quite a lot of stuff here, 2x 315w CMH, 1x 400w mh, 1x 130w cfl, 150L/m air pump, 75L/m pump and a 35L/m pump. Also having the dehumidifier running sucks the juice :thumb: that's just in the grow room, then have to think about air compressors and all the equipment running in the sheds while we work on our cars, fridge up the shed, fridge in the house, computers stay on 24/7 :rofl: the list just goes on and on lol, tbh I don't care what it is as long as I'm earning enough from my garden to pay for it :thumb:

I had a Thai plant that came from that old Thai brick crud from years ago that grew just like that Grinspoon pic. Wasn't bad smoke if you had the patience to pick each calyx off the stems. Which I did. Probably had an ounce of pure calyx's on a 6 foot plant. Not a keeper. But interesting.
I really don't see why barneys would market it except for novelty value.

That's what it seems to me, a marketing ploy, just like the ducksfoot, there is no real benefit to that strain as far as I know, just the weird leaves and is supposedly not that potent either :thumb: tbh I don't want to have to pick each calyx off one by one, especially when I probably wont be smoking it :rofl: Man id love to get my hands on some of those old thai stick seeds from over here, inside I reckon it would do really well, would have some massive colas :)
 
Yeah I have thought about it and I cannot see any potential in it. Haven't found any material on the net about anyone trying anything with it either. They haven't had seeds for sale for ages. Don't think they will bother again.

Man I am absolutely stuffed and ive only just begun :rofl: Indoor c99 is completely harvested and washed :thumb: I'm just having a quick smoko break and will be back in there to try stretch out 24k as much as possible, her smell has gone even funkier overnight, I'm hoping it will get to a point where the funk overpowers the off oranges smell :rofl: I might just keep her if I can fit her in the space a bit better ;) Need to sort out the light over Incredible Bulk too and that's just the flower tent for the night :rofl: don't think I will get around to doing much in veg or the pollen tent tonight :thumb:
 
Hi all, sorry to jump into this thread with a fresh question (New member) can you tell me on average how long you veg g13 clones for and how long is the flowering period on this particular strain? I understand it may take around 4 weeks veg and 12 weeks flowering providing conditions are correct etc? Any feedback would be appreciated!
 
Can veg it for as long as you like.. long enough so it'll use up all it's allowed space.. 12 weeks could be right depending on its cross.. what cross is it?
 
as far as I'm aware it's g13 haze cross, just a rough idea of people's different yield amount through longer or shorter veg times? if any experience with this strain? Cheers for the response
 
I have not grown any g13 crosses yet apart from my killer queen I'm running right now in veg but I was thinking it would bring the flower time down being an indica, g13 haze I think is around 9-10 weeks in flower :thumb: as Grizz said, you can veg for as long as you like or space permits, just need to remember the plant will at least double its size in flower ;)

I got a Barney's farm liberty haze I'm about to put in flower. It's a g13/ Chem91 cross. I'll know soon enough how much it stretches!!

Some updates from the flower tent last night, Incredible Bulk is powering on, another 2" growth overnight :thumb: Managed to get the light about 6" lower then realised I was already just about maximum stretch of the power cable from the ballast to the hood, oh well...

24k, I strung her up and spaced her out a bit better, she fucking stinks, bad, its all I can smell and its getting stronger each day :rofl: starting to smell like someone that has been working out for a week straight without a shower crossed with rotten moldy oranges, even found myself sniffing my underarms quite a bit last night thinking I badly needed a shower but it was her :rofl: I know people say the stinkier the plant usually means its more potent but seriously better not taste like what it smells, yuck!
