Tonight i decided no updates as such, more just picture updates

Atomic#1:
First picture, an untreated flower, Second picture, 4 days since starting CS treatments, I missed one of the days but will not matter, looking great so far.

Atomic#2:
The branching on her is awesome and the tops are pretty even, root system is very healthy, usually a pearly white but had the res changed yesterday and i noticed they stain for a few days with the DM ADD.27. She has exploded with growth since i took clones last night and i could hardly even tell where they were taken from

White Jack:
Starting to show more growth each day now, over her stunted growth period lol, just had a water foliar in this pic and then covered after with the soft drink bottle dome

Clones:
Yep you guessed it, i took clones last night in my new cloner and i must say, after 24hours i am already impressed, not one bit of droop to them at all, still as healthy as the time i cut them from the plant. I also opted to take a small nug as a clone from Money Maker, will try get roots and reveg.

Atomic Bomb:
Filling out more and more every day have not been able to find my ec pen for the past few days so really surprised how healthy they still are, a few defs but this late in flower id expect more lol

Money Maker:
Her colas are so dense, so so dense, like rocks lol, they are getting close, trichs mostly all cloudy now. I thought they would have been done a week ago

Just a couple of things tonight, i wont bore you too much.

Atomic#1:
5 Days since starting CS treatments, not treated again tonight, finding 2 consecutive days followed by a day off is doing the trick, gives that day to gain new pistle growth for me to treat. The pictures do not do it justice, from the eye the treated flowers look amazing, can see every flower i have treated, further on will show better results in the picture department but i thought i would just document everything i could of the process for future reference. What i have noticed though is that everything i have ever read about producing fem pollen, CS wreaks havok on their plants especially any fan leaves it comes into contact with, i have been taking no special care to avoid the fan leaves and they have copped a fair amount of overspray, the areas are almost as healthy as the rest of the plant and it is only really affecting the pistles. Still amazed how healthy this plant still is being just in a cupboard with a light, no airflow or fan, res still has not been changed out or even checked in days

Apart from that i have done nothing except for more defol to both Atomic and Money Maker, looking better by the day and hoping to be harvesting within the next week or so
I bought a dymo labelmaker cheap as today, perfect for labeling my jars, i thought i would test it out on a sticker for my cloner

Does your cloner have sprinkled/sprayed water, or bubbles?

My veg room humidity is tyically in the 50-75% Range. I have not needed (and don't have) a dome for the spray cloner.

The cloner has a sprinkler setup, this is in the big tent currently so the RH is dropping below 50% quite frequently, i figured the dome came with it so i might use it til i move them over to the smaller tent where the RH stays high. Everything i have tried with cuttings and seedlings without a dome has frizzled up and died, I think its due to the temps over here and being summer time I would try running it without the dome but these are the last clones i will be taking from any atomic to keep this pheno alive, cant afford to lose them lol
Another thing i just thought of, without a dome they would be in direct light from the 600w hps (its only currently at 75% power) and may be too much for them at this stage, if i had a spot to put them i would much prefer to run them under CFL.

You logic and choices make perfect sense.

My clones sit about 24" belw CFL. The only problem I have had is one plant went into flower due the the reduced light of double the distance from the CFLs.

I really would like to get them into the smaller tent under the 400W MH, i will probably only run it at 50% for starters, the bigger tent only really has RH issues right now because its so big and really only 1 plant in there , once she grows a bit and i start adding more to the mix every few weeks the RH will be right up there where it should be. Main thing tonight will be checking the Skywalker kush as i left her dome off when i checked on them last night, if she has frizzled no biggie as she has not looked very good from day 1, however if she responds well i may just remove the dome from the clones and White Jack. I also have a spare 130w grow CFL i was thinking i may end up hanging in the veg tent, only problem is i dont have a hood unless i can use a hps reflector without the ballast, not sure if it works or not. if i could run that, i could then block the strong light with the hood and only allow the CFL light for seedlings and clones.

I have had the dome off the clones for almost 10 hours now with no signs of wilting or drooping, these cloners are awesome

Atomic#2:
She is ready to go, looking real good and cant wait to get the HPS globe in there and running at 100%, all comes down to waiting for the others to be ready and dried. She needed a good top up today, PH was perfect at 5.8, EC at 1.0, i added 6L water with a week 3 veg mix. Should produce more than its mother with the way she has grown in the past few weeks and also being under the 600w parabolic light.

White Jack:
Getting bigger each day, not much bigger but getting there lol, i may change out her nutes in a couple of days, add a bit of strength to the mix, almost living off plain water right now
I have removed her dome, after checking on her today about 10 hours later she is still looking about the same, i will continue to monitor everything and have the domes on standby.

Atomic Bomb:
So close to being ready, not there yet, almost all white hairs are gone, trichs are cloudy. Still not sure on how much nutes would be left in her res but it would not be much at all, PH was perfect at 5.9, didnt think to check EC before i added 4L water PH'd to 5.8.

Money Maker:
Same as Atomic, so close except for a few chunks of white hairs and lack of amber trichs, they are mostly all cloudy now. Her PH today rounded up perfect scores all round the tents at 5.8, amazing how they have had hardly any attention and still cooperating

Great White Shark:
Been a while since i have commented on her, so thats what i am going to do today
Still have not checked her res, could be empty for all i know, been a week or so since i last checked lol. Sorry but its almost impossible to get to her with the other girls in front, i will try my best tonight but she is still the ugly duckling, however should be a decent yield considering (if i get an ounce out of her will be way above my expectations), filling out very nicely, this is the smaller top of the 3 main branches, the only one i can really get pics of right now.

Tonight i will be updating after checking each tent, makes things a little easier and a lot quicker getting the info out there

So starting with the Veg tent, I wont bother covering temps and RH anymore, at this point we have had our hottest days this year and the setup has handled it supurb everything in here looks fan-bloody-tastic lol, Atomic#2 looking even better than yesterday, i gave her a 180 degree turn tonight as i felt the closer side needed more light. She now stands in at 16" tall, 4" taller than my current flowering atomic when flipped

The main thing i wanted to update on tonight, i cant believe it, 4 days and i am seeing my first root on one of the clones. What is this sorcery?
This cloner is bloody amazing, I highly recommend everyone to use one, cost me an extra $30 from what i paid for a damn seedling tray with heat mat and rockwool, and i did not get any results from that crap , probably one of the best investments in my grow room.
Not sure if the Rhizo helped or not yet, it defo will once roots start
Also looking like the money maker bud may be starting to shoot a root lol, dont want to speculate at this point so will wait for a pic when i see results

White Jack is looking perfect, PH perfect at 5.8 yet again, EC was really low at 0.4, i have added some more DM Gold A+B to bring the EC up to around 0.7. She has some nice roots starting to grow out of the 6" netpot lid.

Skywalker Kush, she is still going, just.... Not sure what her issue is, she stretched so much in the first few days, leaves wouldnt open, having a real hard time. Awwww poor baby, There is one rule in this house, "Get tough or Die"
She is currently propped up with toothpicks and will continue to keep an eye on her, Rockwool looks way too wet so i will get some clay balls soaking and get her transplanted into one of the netpot lids, should stop a lot of the moisture soaking the rockwool. sorry bout the pic, i was focused more on the rockwool

Thats about all that was done in the veg tent tonight, will have a bit of a relax then head into the Flower and seed rooms

I will never go back to rockwool for cloning. I doubt I will use rockwool again for a seed. My heat mat and clone domes are gathering dust.

I like those little finger divots to pick up the disks that hold the stalks. Do the disks rest ON TOP of the holes?

I will try to explain it but will grab a pic tomorrow morning, the neoprene inserts fit perfectly in these holes and the way the plastic is molded its like it has a little ledge the whole way around the bottom only allowing them to go down so far, the finger holes are awesome, without them i would have to lift the lid and push them up from the bottom, a really snug fit. I actually still need to grab some pics of the whole cloner setup

Last night i should not have stopped lol, didnt manage to get into the main flower room.

Today i will for sure, I had my Pro Pots arrive and so far have setup Atomic#2 in her new home, much smaller res only holding 8L at a time, should be fine as i will add levels tomorrow, i am in there almost every night monitoring anyways and the worst so far was 3 days in the main flower tent where they needed 7L. The good thing is i gain more growing space, no point having a big res if i cant fill it lol.

So quick update before i get back in there, I wanted to grab that Pic of the cloner for you Rad

While i am at it i will update the root situation, still only the one but she has made some great progress overnight, root has quadrupled in length

I spent today sorting out my seed collection a little better and decided to make a list of what i have lol, it turns out i may be a little addicted to buying seeds I recieved my last order i have been waiting on from bonza yet i still find myself searching all the seedbanks each day for something new hehe. I have 54 strains here now LOL, going to take me a while to get through all them.

I am a miser with seeds, not a hoarder. I have 7-8 named strains plus other seeds. Two of the named strains have not been popped, but they are also single seeds. I'll get to them by spring. You are somewhat like a sommelier selecting an array of fine seeds by parentage and breeding. I am more focussed on how to train seeds to be fine, sticky girls than who their parents are - more like a porn star pimp.

Yeah i plan on sticking with only a couple, few randoms thrown in each grow etc but mainly on the hunt for something that suits my taste, i mean it all tastes great but the one that stands out above the rest. If i can produce seeds from all of these i should never have to buy a seed again, well thats if i can stay off the seedbank sites

Spent around 4 hours harvesting Atomic Bomb today, doesnt even feel like im half way through
So far of trimmed buds we are at the 300g+ mark, Im guessing around 600g all up from her. I have had to stop now and am heading out to see a band tonight but will have to get back into it when i get home, dont think there will be much sleeping getting done tonight

Thanks mate but its not over yet and my back hurts haha, Some really nice buds and some of them have a purpleish look to them, going to look real nice dry. Im thinking about growing it over winter and see if it will bring out more purple in the colder temps

So just thought i would update a little today, I have not even started with Money Maker or Great White Shark, I am still going on Atomic Bomb . I cant really post wet weight as it has already started the drying progress, i chopped all her branches off on day 1 and slowly working on trimming the buds. One thing i want to say, do not do it this way! its taking me double if not more time as the leaf has wilted lol, removing each branch as you harvest makes things a lot easier. I have trimmed up around 75% so far but only have limited time in the room each day, last night i was at around 465g, as i said though this is not full wet weight and has been drying for 2 days. Here's a pic from the first day, the drying rack is 600mm in diameter.

Now i want to make special mention to Atomic#2, in the last couple of days she has absolutely taken off, really need to get her into flower . She is bloody huge! Not sure if i mentioned or not but the other day when i changed the pots out, i gave them a new batch of nutes, Atomic#2 was also given ROCK Supergrowth and is really doing its job. I really need to finish this harvest so i can get her into flower asap.

White Jack is still pretty small but looking much healthier after the res change.

Last but not least, clones, still only one with roots but they are powering on, will need to get it transplanted very soon. I think the Rhizo is really helping, so much root growth in just 2 days. The second atomic clone has bumps all over the base of her stem looking like she is gonna bust out all over shortly. Money Maker bud clone is going to take some time, being so far into flower i kinda expected it. Over all they all are almost as healthy as the day i cut them, money maker bud is the only one showing minor yellowing to fans.

Thanks again for checking in, I will have a lot more time tonight to get this harvesting done, Money Maker should be easier with her high calyx-to-leaf ratio and Great White Shark is small so may do her first, hope you all have a great day and i will be back later
