Fem Seed Producing Attempt

so for about a week and a half i've been fighting this issued with my nose. so the weather is super dry right now plus the heat is on, so i figured i just have a dry nose and ignore it at first. then it got worse, way worse. it was as though i did blow for 2 weeks straight without stopping, absolutely brutal pain and lots of bleeding and scabs when i blow my nose. ( I haven't done any blow lol )

I've had a few dentist appointments lately so i thought at first maybe he gave me an infection somehow. then i realized that about the time is started was also the last time i used my nose hair trimmer. Bingo! i'm positive now that its a staph infection from a dirty nose trimmer that i should have cleaned in alcohol.

this was how bad it was yesterday. after a week of steroid cream that my; mother gave me and a lip balm stick that now looks like a dogs boner LMAO, and none of that working.

last night at about midnight i can't take anymore and decide to spray some CS up my nose. Well you wouldn't effing believe it 10 mins later i realize, Jesus christ the pain is died down, like a lot. so i stayed up until about 2 am spraying CS up my nose and sniffing it in every half hour or so.

so today it's feeling 80% better like over night. and feels like it'll be gone completely in another day or 2.

I'm just so surprised and impressed with how it was able to help this infection. I know that CS isn't a miracle cure like some people think, but i did do some reading on it and they've done studies that show it does destroy some virus and bacteria. so i supposed i'll be trying it for anything skin related from now on just in case it works.

yeah, guess i'll just wait and see what happens now lol. feels like it's clearing up tho so that's good. i don't really need blue / grey skin lol

Hope I'm wrong, but bro! Dont be sniffing silver. Go get some statistically approved medicine for clogged face holes, like sinutab. I've had many sleepless nights from cloged nostrils, sinutab worked the best for me atleast.
 
So, you guys were right. one of the critical kush plants had a few big yellow sacs, so i decided to pluck em and see if there was anything inside, and there was.

i sprinkled a small amount of pollen in to a little plastic portion cup then added some of the toasted flour and painted on the CK mama with a little make up brush. gonna keep here in the living room with me for a few hours then mist with water before putting it back with the others.

I'm not gonna be picking at them like this for the most part. i'm hoping to turn them into baggies and shake after a few more days. there's still a ton of green sacs.

didn't get any pics this round, i was just too excited to think lol.

my friend is gonna come over monday night and help collect and take pics while we do it. i'll also send him home with some. he's pretty stoked too.

hopefully it's viable pollen.
 
here's the dusting. but i've discovered something alarming. the leaves are showing these purplish rusty spots. i'm growing in miracle grow because that's just what i had my mothers in.

when i water i water to run off, and wait until they're pretty dry. just adding some cal mag, micro , and bloom to the mix. not much either. 350 ppm maybe.
so i have no ideas what this is. i guess i've been lucky in my grows so far.

so last night i noticed on the critical kush a few of the white hairs have gone brown and started to curl back. i'm hoping this means those hairs caught pollen. I'll try get some pics later on. gonna have a look and see if they might be ready for more plucking tonight.
 
here's some of what i'm seeing on the CK plant. some hairs are turning redish brown and curling up. I put way too much flour in with what i got so it looks a little crazy lol.
got some pollen from the blue rhino and did the same to her. still nothing from the white widow or blueberry.

the white widow mama also got some blue rhino and critical kush pollen. i wasn't gonna do crosses but how can i resist.

well still nothing out of the white widow and blueberry pollen plants, but i think i put them in water too soon, as none of them are looking all that great at this point lol.

but, i got a pretty good amount from the critical kush and the blue rhino. so everyone got some pollen of one kind or another.

the blueberry got the critical kush pollen. ck got ck. blue rhino got blue rhino, and white widow got both and i forgot to mark the branches so now i don't know what's what on the ww.

I only seen a few yellow flower looking parts and didn't get any pics of them, but i'm gonna keep the pollen plants for a while longer in case they start to open up more.

the CK and BR both gave a pretty good amount and i'm happy with what i got out of it so far. If i had to stop and just let the seed plants grow, i'd be fine with that.

next time will be one plant at a time in it's own tent and let it self pollinate.

So if anything else pollen related comes up i'll post about it, but for now i'm feeling good to just relax and hope for seeds.

But all together relieved that I got to this point, and am really actually looking forward to starting fresh with one at a time now.
 
so my buddy from the water treatment plant just dropped off like 5 lbs of soduim thiosulphate lol. anyone know how i should be storing it?

on another note i definitely have seeds growing. i can see one actually sticking out of it's little pod. i'll try get some pics tonight. i already took some but they just looked like regular buds in the pics.

the CK and WW have lots of pods. the blue rhino seems to have none so i'm thinking the only viable pollen out of the 4 strains was the CK. i feel like it's because i didn't spray until the sacs started to open.

I have some STS on the way for next time, this stuff i found on ebay called " the need for seeds" and now to probably order some silver nitrate so i can have the materials for a never ending supply of STS lol.

Wow! Unless you are a breeder, or make STS for re-sale, you have several lifetimes worth of Sodium Thiosulfate. Keep it in a cool, dark place, and keep it dry. Store it in sealed jars, or vacuum sealed bags to keep it from absorbing moisture from the air.
 
Here's a couple pics of the white widow. She's showing more than any of the others. And I can see green seed sticking out.
