I hope you have had a beautiful day!

It’s another sunny day in the yard. Did some trimming of the landscaping to provide more hours of direct sun. I’m still thinking the pepper tree may require some not insignificant pruning. But the kids are getting close to 11 hours of direct sun now.

The GLGA is finally looking better and starting to show some thinner sativa fingers.

The tub will need to be moved away from the tomatoes eventually. Good thing it only weighs 27 pounds, including a full 2.5 gallon reservoir (it took almost 6 fillings of this 1/2 gallon watering can to begin spilling out the hole).

And the cruciform BeBo2 straining in the sun a bit. Think I will move it into some light shade for a while. It is ~97F, after all.

This one’s for you @HashGirl
I’m going to show how rough you can be during up-potting an Auto. And hopefully disprove some bro science.

This is one of the Auto Kryptonites (Ka3). The same one that I dropped and spilled all over the hot pavers.

These are her roots. Beautiful, aren’t they?

And here she is in her new digs.

You’ll notice that it’s a similar situation as you have, with respect to the height above the reservoir. So I will be fertigating 2 - 3 times a day until she starts to take off. Then, I’ll back off to every 3 days for a couple of weeks, so that she can experience the full wet/dry cycle and populate the bucket with roots, searching for the last bit of moisture. After that, I will probably go to every day or two. We’ll have to read the plants. And the weather has a great deal to do with it.

Let’s grow hempy! :headbanger:

Thanks, Felipe but your auto is much bigger than mine was. Heck yours above is bigger now than mine were when I transplanted them. o_O I'm pretty sure the root for my little plants was no more than 3 or 4 max per plant. That was part of the problem I had transplanting them because their root(s) seemed so tenuous and I was afraid of breaking it when gently trying to wiggle it out of the pearlite and water filled cup. Here's what mine looked like the day of transplant:

Size doesn’t really matter (well, at least until it overgrows your space, lol). The tek is the same for both, when it comes to helping them find the moist motherload of nutrients in the perlite above the water table.

First, I want to express my gratitude for all those that gave their all for me to be free!
:Namaste:

Today will not get to 100F. The forecast has been downgraded a bit. So I put Ka3 out into the morning sun. She seems pretty perky, so I think she likes it.

Hoping for a pleasant Memorial Day to you all :Namaste:

Your journal is certainly a great advertisement for hempy growing - your plants are all looking awesome! :high-five:
And did you think that I forgot, or that the training wouldn’t continue..just because of a little housing upgrade?
Looks like a torture chamber you got going on there.
Going up to ~103-105F on Tuesday, before dropping back to the 70s by next Saturday.
You must be further inland than me. Supposed to get to 94F here today and 98F tomorrow. I plan to stay inside most of the day!
