Farside05's Super Secret Weed Feed Grow

Nitrogen, Potassium and calcium are the 3 biggies throughout the plants life. Hmmm

...and Silica. Check this one too. Different company, similar tissue sample results.

Super Secret Weed Feed was chosen to match the nutritional requirements outlined in those 3 videos as closely as possible. Along with the concept of 1) your fertilizer should match your water, 2) your fertilizer should match your growing substrate, and 3) your fertilizer should match your growing method is (indoors in liquid, indoors in soilless, outdoors in soil, etc). Here is another great series of reads. They are a bit more technical.

Understanding Plant Nutrition

Water Quality

Fertllizers

Might as well throw in a link to one of my other favorite articles. It's not as technical of a read as the previous 5.

Lol right i know what u mean im trying to dail in my perpetual grow alil better still getting the swing of autos from photos but i gotta keep telling myself i need room for a few soil girls still atleast 2 r3 but would like 4 then atleast 6 to 8 hydro buckets but wud like 10 just dont have room lol ill prolly be able 2 keep my new tent for 3 soil girls in like 10 gal cloth pots should do fine and then my veg area i can do my hydro rdwc setup which i will finish making once the dam parts show up its taking forever but for now i got some regular dwc buckets with airstones going and tht is working out ok but i know i can get it better with my rdwc but still i only got room for about 6 buckets or so with rdwc but i mite have room for a single bucket or 2 idk yet ill have 2 see once i setup my rdwc what im working with for space. All i know for certain is tht im keeping some girls going in the promix setup to use up my remo nutes then im guna try farsides method of a dyna gro series which is only 2 bottles so tht sounds nice lol n see what i can come up with for that.

5 gallon cloth pots should be sufficient for autos. The run time is so short that I don't see a benefit of using anything any larger. It saves on the amount of ProMix and nutes you have to use too, and I'm always aware of keeping costs down...lol

Works fine on autos or photos. In my prior post to you, I had suggested increasing the Pro Tekt from 1/4, to 1/2, to 3/4 to 1 tsp. I don't think that will hurt at all but in review, my previous grows were 1/4 tsp for the first 4 weeks, then 3/4 tsp thereafter. Biggest reason I kept the Pro Tekt lower at the beginning was that it is very base in nature (acts like a pH up) and if not using a decent amount of Foliage Pro (which is more acidy), you have to use a lot of pH down to get it balanced back out. Here are some past autos with the Foliage Pro and Pro Tekt feed schedule.

Feed at the 1 tsp Foliage Pro, 3/4 tsp Pro Tekt rate until/unless you see the leaf tips turning translucent or slight burn (see below). If so, drop the Foliage Pro back to 3/4 tsp, or alternate between 3/4 and 1 tsp every other feeding.

I think I’m going to get the Foliage Pro and Pro-Tekt for my auto grow. Very interested to see if it increases the quality of my final product

I'm honored that you'd consider giving it a try. The Dyna Gro program has more followers on one of the other weed forums. It's not heard of as much here.

The schedule looks like this. Its laid out for photos but basically you just follow it 'till an auto is ready for harvest. For the last week before harvest I usually drop back to week 2's feed rate.

Botanicare CNS17 Grow has the same ratios as Foliage Pro and is also a 1 part product. They also have a SIlica product (SIlica Blast). You could do the exact same using their line, although the products are more diluted so you'd have to use more of them per gallon. FYI, Botanicare offers free samples but they are little 8 oz bottles, and since its more diluted, it won't be enough to get all the way through a grow. You might be able to finish 1 plant with it if you are lucky. But hey, its free. Takes about 6 weeks from your request for samples until they show up in your mailbox.

I’ll roll with Dyna gro

Sweet, I've always wanted to see how it works for someone else, especially those that may have better lights than I. My lights are lower end but functional. It's hard for me to justify upgrading my lights when they produce way more than we consume. When your sitting on a couple pounds of bud, what's the point. I don't even need to grow more, it's just a hobby.

I run 4 but cram them in a 32"x32" tent. I'd like to have bigger but that's the limits of the space I have dedicated to grow in.
