Farmlite?

Just opened it up and set it up, they've changed the driver again. I think they just slap on any driver they can get the best deal on at the moment. It's now some brand named Juson.

The build quality isn't Mars/SpiderFarmer quality by any means, it's noticably a step down, but it's still solid and has a DIY charm to it.

I wasnt sure if i wanted to keep it (i already have 2 150w QBs) but there doesnt seem to be many options for a 4x2 bar light, theres the Aglex M400 on Amazon and the FC-4000 which It's 40% the cost of. I think I'm going to keep it for the value alone which is terrible reason but I'm still leaning towards it.

That is the same driver from OP. Shenzhen Juson is the company name. One of the largest manufacturers but they are often renamed as a house brand. Not the best quality but good enough to be one of the biggest, even though you rarely see there name printed boldly on a driver.

Installed four 150wat fixtures with these drivers in march of 2021 in a beauty shop. They have been on 24/7 since then and still working. Diodes may be fading or dying but the drivers are still functioning. It was a cheap solution for bright true color at the makeup and hair dying stations. They leave them on at night as security lights. With a good heat sink and diodes they are worth using and a cheap price.

I just read this thread again, I thought OP mentioned a different name for the driver but you're right he also said it was a Juson.

Good to know about the driver, the light seems like a solid piece of equipment otherwise. Spectrum is a little bluer then usual but I think it looks that way because of the 450nm diodes, since it mainly has 3000k diodes.

Did anyone else pick up one of these lights for black friday? I bought it for my veg tent but I'm curious to see the quality of flowers it can grow now.

3000k diodes would be a bit warmer/yellow. that is really white/blue. unless you have colour correction on your camera. did you get a number count on each diode with the k?

i also notice it supplements with both deep blues and red. it's sometimes nice if you can kill one set or the other depending on growth stage.

Yes the light looks extremely white, bordering on light blue to the eyes.

I haven't found

Yes the light extremely white/blue, what's why I was surprised when I flipped the light over and saw it was 3000k diodes, with some 5000k diodes in between. I haven't taken an exact count, but it looks like a 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratio of 3000k to 5000k, there seems to be slightly more reds then blues as well.

More control over the spectrum would be nice for sure, I think we'll start to see it over the coming years, I just saw a new Chinese brand 150w light with dimmer, timer and spectrum tuner built in for $66 on Amazon.

I'm very interested to see how this light flowers, I've seen people get excellent results with it, but I want to see for myself how well a budget bar can do.
