Well that was carnage for a bit hey but you got them back to good health. High 5 for that. If that auto was pollinated by a photoperiod plant it wouldn't be an auto anymore. From what I've read anyway. Will keep checking in to see how you're getting on mate.

i was actualy with the friend who gave me the seeds today
we was discussing, not sure how genetics and dna traits work too much but was considerig maybe unstable auto genes and hasnt properly passed on, so it started to flower then got confused has kept on growing and doesnt know what to do lol
who are the resident genetecists around here haha
i did ask the questions early on, but as i mentioned after rhey started flowering i thought all would be good.
anyway see if 12:12 help them, really need the lights back upstairs to start new seeds by now, photos are into fower 2 weeks so should be germinating seeds ready to go in soon as they are done. thats min 6 weeks if we say strains run 8-12 wks, i have no idea how long they will go, but really around now i should be germinating.
maybe il take the quantum board and get some started, leave them with the mars the 100w flood light and 600w cheapo one. have another 100w floodlight can always add in but is too high kelvin for flowering really.

thinking to do the same again, couple of autos and 3 photos which i will quadline for height again,
considering a seedsman Onyx auto, and a Blue cheese auto from barneys farm, possibly then a white widow and blueberry from seedsman and a 00 bubblegum. .
wanted to swap to living soil also but a big change i making to my work life so gonna use up thecoco and nutes i got and get the monies for the plunge into living soil next round.

Yeah I'm not too sure on the genetics stuff but I have just bought some fast flowering photoperiod strains and they cross an auto with a photo to get that (simply put, think they cross back and forth until they get it right). Like you say you may have ended up with some weird inbetween strain.

Only thing I'd say is try and keep things as simple as possible for yourself until you get more experience growing. I always try to go by K.I.S.S. lol

yep. i dont think the auto crossed with the dolato as it would have lost all its auto genes as iunderstood it; same as you read. but i know i read also about diluting genetics through offspring. shame as they were lovely healthy looking plants til they started their stretch then hey went mental and never stopped haha
not even gonna be able to raise the lights in the shower anymore soon...

haha was meant to be simple this time, 2 autos 3 photos, all have been super healthy all the way, and i learnt i need to perfect my training techniques some lol have a nice forest going though.

Obviously it's entirely your choice but I'd say doing all autos or all photos would keep things simpler for you for a while. All on the same light schedule then. Hell yeah buddy it looks awesome. You'll end up with some good bud I'm sure. Wish my shower was a sweet smelling jungle. Ha ha. I'd love to grow plants that big. I think @Bilbobudkin420 has a system for growing autos alongside photo's. Anyway you're defo on the right track and I think for us first time growers it's all about what we learn on the first grow over what the end result is. You should have a damn good stash with those giants.

If im gonna try and do autos and photos ill drop the autos first and let em grow until atleast one or 2 of em hits flower or until theyve got a pretty decent size to em. as soon as that happens drop the photo beans. Keep em all on the same light schedule until the autos are chopped then the photos should be either ready to flip or very close. If it goes the other way and a couple autos still need time to finish but your photo girls are getting outta control theres no problems with flipping the lights and letting the remaining autos finish on 12/12.

i have a separate veg and flower area aswell remember aswell as another smaller tent planned for a mother/clone tent
so my plan was to start off the new seeds in the larger of the two prefab tents, as i did this time, and then the photos will come out into the other manmade tent for flower schedule, ideally the one prefab tent will always stay on 19/5 for veg and autos, the flower room 12/12,
will just move them in and out as needed. will mainly work around 3 photos at a time and the autos will be chucked in alongside.

Ah yeah I forgot you were getting those other spaces. You'll be sweet. I'm hoping to get another little stealth box on the go for veg. Speed up my turnaround a bit. How're the girls doing tonight?

i believe their stretch may be done, dont seem to be getting closer to lights last couple of days, have a little more room to raise that board, and can drop the pot if needed a little also.
tonnes of budsite, scared of hese sucker branches and removing anything, have taken a few spindly ones out, and am pinching off thenlower bud sites on ones im wary of removing. this whole defol, lollypopping, pruning shit gives me the jitters.

same thing, i want to produce these fat colas but again how far and what to remove, i took loads a week or so before flip looking back, the lower growths i left have stretched a lot so again removing the lower bud sites on those that are mostly under canopy, any straggler ones and thats about it so far, spun them all around, tucking large fans and accidently snapping a couple off lol no harm done

not much to say on the royal haze. see how 12/12 goes.
still considering wether to start some seeds under the 600w led cheapo and the 100w led flood light, its 6000k, that or take the qb from the haze and give them the mixnmatch lol
would be 2x 100w floodlight (1warmwhite 1coolwhite) 1xmarshydro240 1x600w cheapo. decisions decisions lol

have a large fan in there 16inch pedastal aswel now, not as stuffy and temps are better, will raise the lights tomorrow havent had time, need to move the hooks.

lets start with those quick. i feel, somewhat, the lighting change to a 12/12 schedule has perhaps, i cant be sure... made some positive effect.
the budsites, albeit numerous and small are looking better than they did a week ago, we will see

they cant stay there much longer, maybe they can be drained for oil at the end if nothing smokeable??

things are happening, i was apprehensive she may be a he, after reading how males always grew more vigourously than females, and end up lankier.. that was how she always was, but looks like shes flowering as we’d hoped

both are fairly bushy, where ive removed some of the lower shooters ive actually left their fan leaves for now.
both looking nice to my eye.
will be interesting with the gas1 directly under the 3000k with far red and gas2 getting more 3500k straight how they cone out, they both get a little and a lot of each really raised the lights a click, still room.

hoping shes done stretching, out of room this end for lights lol have been pinching the stem just to try to inhibit it getting taller, read someone around here talking about it and have been doing a while, seems to be working ok
some of the pics of side view show the good penetration of the qbs i think. clearer when in there, i will clean them up at some point some more, but not yet

edit, critical i was up late and couldnt water this morn before lights went out, she was thirsty lol lights are just on in all pics and just been fed

should also note they had their first shot of pk boost yesterday, they will get 1 a week until later in flower.
