I agree with Sanibel, hard to say without a microscope. By the looks of the pretty white hairs there though, it looks like at least a week or more of puttin on the weight.

thanks for the advice guys. that was my way of thinking too.
i added a 20w cfl (pinched from my front room - dark in here now..lol) at the bottom of the plant to try and get a small amount of light to the lower section.
cant afford a microscope at the moment, so i ripped apart an old digital camera to see if any of the lenses would have a decent magnification and thankfully after an hour of cuts and scratches, i managed to get the lense that magnifies the image onto the CCD. its only about 5mm in diameter but allows me to get a closer look of the trichs - with difficulty and lots of shaking. so far they all look clear.

thanks to Olias and reading Rosemans advice, i'm not going to flush as long as i am able to still lift the heavy beauty out of the tent for res. changes

Very impressive dude. I can't wait until I can fund a hydro grow. What were your start up costs for the equipment involved and if you know of a good place to get nuits online I am all ears.

thanks for dropping in Prescription, not sure on the true startup costs, because everything has been loaned to me by a close friend. You should be a ble to make a cheap hydro pot, check out the DIY section. As for nutes and prices etc, depends on what country your from?

microscope arrived. not the best, it has no manual focus or zoom. oh well, i'll have to make do with it for now. so far only a very small percentage of trichs have turned amber.

yes im after a medicated couchlock high, its for relief of anxiety/panic and nerve damage. so should be a slightly higher percentage of amber. thats if i can wait any longer..lol
