Experiments With Blue Cheese - Brassic Style

I think both of our attempts may have to do with the cloning gel/compound. You still may pull through as the leafs haven't deteriorated like mines.

Dresney my SCROG candidate and the Super Clone FTW.

Dres is showing signs of her harsh growth suppression regime. Need to get her box sorted pronto.

Super clone FTW looks like she's gonna make it. Day 9 and not fallen over !

Well nothing to lose by leaving em' a bit longer Reg.

I might make an entry for the DCS though by doing so :)

Next attempt will be with a fresh cut and as dark as i can make it in the root zone.

Does the method call for no rooting gel/compound?

Speaking of Dresney (as in my partner on The Reps Are Right Dresney), she's having a weird clone thing going on over at her place. Mr. Flintstone didn't say anything about cloning gel & I've noticed most members using bubble cloners don't use gel either.

Beautiful update, BB.

I agree with prior comments... the lush green against your ultra-clean white interior makes for exquisite photos... some of my favorites :)

I'm very happy to see the colas fillings out that you were worried about. Late bloomers... literally.

I haven't tried this method of cloning, but I didn't use any rooting hormone on my bubble clones. The first clone to root was submerged about a centimeter in the water. The only difference there is the bubbles, I'd say.

Have some reps for a great update :bravo:

Thank You Dres,

and for the reps as well.

I think there must be some merit in Mr. Flintstones method. i'm sure we'll find it soon.

Congrats on your bubble cloner success +reps for that.

I recommend adding at least Aqua Shield, but also Flora Blend if both are available. I took 4 cuttings at around day 22 of flower and I did not expect any to root until after about 2 weeks. WRONG, 6 days was all it took to root all 4, 2 in rockwool cubes and 2 in a bubble cloner with stem tips about 2 CM above water line. I also use a heat mat for the dark hours, but have found that a single 20watt CFL heated up the mini fridge just fine for the daylight hours.
But for real, the Aqua Shield (5ml/Gal) and Flora Blend (4ml/Gal) works wonders in conjunction with rooting gel as it has beneficial bacteria.
