Emmie's 6 Plant, True Living Organic, LED Grow Journal

Ain't it funny how as humans we are never satisfied. Look's good. The fine tuning can be the hard part of growing.
It's true but I believe this is what contributes to our evolution and advancement as a species. If we were just all sitting around "satisfied" we would never improve or advance.
Great harvest Emilya! Glad to see Trainwreck was a heavyweight. I'm vegging one now with high hopes.

For those keeping score at home...

Jack Herer and NYC Diesel are still going. Jack has just started her last 2 week budswell and is showing no indication yet of fade. Diesel is a 12 week plant and all she wants right now is water, banana juice and time.

Also, we have chopped up Wappa, hopefully going to seed.

I’m drooling over here em! Great job! I love the fall colours on those fan leaves, it’s beautiful. I was wondering how do you covert wet to dry bud when you chop ? I’ve been researching and studying like crazy on TLO. Investing in revs book and jumping between forums, I’m really soaking in a mass amount of information. I strongly believe this is the way I want to grow! Feeding the soil! Haha, today as I was fidgeting with my lights I was wondering how strong effective lights affect the TLO growing? Would there be a deficiency? say that the plant couldn’t keep up ? I figured that in synthetic growing you just keep juicing them up, but for tlo would it make a significant difference? Anyway I’m looking forward to seeing the next set up in action and what genetics you plan on growing :) cheers ❤️

Hi Edna, Thanks for the compliments. I would never try to TLO in anything smaller than a 3 gallon container because I am not sure that I could put enough nutrients in a smaller sized container to get the plants all the way through the flower period without running out. With great lights and good plant you can get right to the edge by the end of the grow, and I much prefer going with 5 or 7 gallon containers in TLO because of that.
I am planning on taking a month or two off after this grow so as to let the new Missouri laws settle into place. It sounds like to go totally legal I am going to have to allow DHSHHS employees into my home to do a safety inspection, and that can't happen with an active grow going on. I will get back up into operation ASAP, and I will be running some special seeds directly from the breeder, Santero.
Regarding the wet to dry formula that I use... (Wet weight - 10%) / 4 = dry weight The 10% is to account for stems and branches while drying

I am still waiting to see how this will affect my CCW. If they intend to take away my right to carry just to allow me to grow pot, I will be getting an attorney and moving my grow op elsewhere.
That's the threat with a medical card here in Mass. That's got to get straightened out on the fed level. Here it's a blessing and a curse to have "liberal" folk in leadership positions. I'm lucky it's not a thing here to visit the home of a grower. They do (I hear rumor) say with a med card comes revocation of carry permit. I haven't read the law.

Thank you em for the formula. Definitely going to place that in my journal. Perfect explanation on the bucket/bag size to make sure they hunker threw the entire grow. As always, thanks em :). It’s unfortunate about some of the laws that you have to abide by just to grow some medicine. Although making sure it’s out of site out of mind will be beneficial to you in the long run. Especially if their planning on coming into residence. North of the boarder we are aloud 4, but I know some that bend the rules, haha. I wish you all the best with the new regulations and I can’t wait to see you pop some of those sour D/ cindy 99 ‘s in the ground. What was the name of the beans again ? Cheers Edna ❤️

That is exactly what they tried doing here in Michigan. As a matter of fact all of the medical marijuana paperwork said nothing about it however at the Sheriff's Department hung the letter up at the windows saying if you had a medical marijuana card you had to forfeit all of your firearms as per federal law you cannot be under the influence of any drugs while having firearms LOL all at the same time they say you cannot be discriminated against in any way for having a medical marijuana card. So they decided that they would like to enforce that federal law but not the laws on marijuana. That didn't fly! Funny how you can have a prescription for Vicodin or Percocet and be perfectly legal to carry your pistol but not a medical marijuana card LOL. That didn't work for too long.

After a full 7 days of slow drying, Trainwreck has hit the magical shrinking and color change jar. First testbud shows that she has some good creeper high qualities which of course will only get better with a cure. This is going to be fun.

Ooh I like when it creeps! Reminds me of one of the first times I had cannabis as a youth. Smoking out with your friends only to feel this wave of good times wash over your body ten minutes later haha!

Looks great Emilya :bravo:

We have those signs sheriff warning signs hanging in our gun shops and ranges. It’s been a very long time, but I think they even ask about mj use on ownership applications here. CA has an established history through our Supreme Court that local LEOs can’t enforce federal law. However, in the eyes of the Fed, you are still involved in narcotics. If you get wrapped up in their business, it’s narcotics plus guns, and that’s very bad to be on the losing side of. Mandatory minimums and all. My group made a collective decision, no guns for anyone other than hired security. I’d rather be robbed than sent to federal prison.

A federal case is likely never going to happen for someone like you or me, but one needs to be very realistic and prioritize for ones own safety.

Your flowers look beautiful, BTW! Lol

I love to see them in jars as much as I do on branches, maybe more.

it is already starting to shrink up a bit as the RH settles. It is going to cure up just fine, looks like it hit the jar at 71%. I will let it all even out overnight and then start burping it down into the curing range as needed.

The jar is a 7 cup or 1500 ml wide mouth jar from Ball. I have several of these so as to start the jar process with as little shoving compressing of the buds as possible. After a week in this magic jar, the volume will have significantly shrunk down from where it is now, and it is then that I will transfer it to a darkened glass 3cup/600ml sized Ball jar. I also have 6 of the darkened 12 oz/300ml jars for the smaller batches and for storing Boveda packs and such.

Super Cheese is still drying but a paper plate of the few branches too small to hang was dry enough to try today. The first test bud was very sweet and bodes well for things to come. The remains of this mini batch was put into one of the mini jars to start curing up while waiting for the rest of the batch to get ready.

I love harvest time in my garden, don't you?

Just harvested one Friday and I should have three plants coming down in the next 7-10 days and one more another 7-10 days after that. Fun times! I actually don’t mind trimming, it’s a good chance for me to put on some tunes and just get absorbed in the smells
