Early Urkle LED Grow

Was thinking about 60 days depending on how big they are also will be doing a scrog 3 maybe 4 plants 4x4 grow room with mars hydro 600w and g8 240w and will also be adding 2 g8 90w UFO bloom boosters for flowering.....this is my first grow and funds are a little tight but I think if got a good start and if all gos well should get a nice yield, I'll need some help along the way and will listen to any advice you can give me.... I plan on making my own ewc tea for nutrients

Day 15- morning

Took a peek at the plans today and the first set of leaf's are turning yellow.

Question is this because she is ready for nutrients?

Will be transplanting them tonight into 1g fabric pots will be using fox farms ocean forest for the soil, will this soil have enough nutrients for the nex week or 2?

I would think ffof would have enough to get them going.

I use LOS but have a bag of ffof to try with mega crop this next run so I’m not that familiar with it.

Over watering would cause the leaves to yellow as your seeing. Maybe just give them an extra day next cycle. Let them really dry

I'm in for this one. Always liked an led in a shiny tent lmao.
Lol thanks man, I will be updating often as this is my first grow and will need some advice along the way I have followed many grows and have a good concept down but would love the advice of more experienced growers my plan is to go organic and making my own tea for feedings

I've used that extreme tea before. It's good stuff. I may use it in my next grow...

I like the tent... I'm looking on getting a 1.5x1.5x2m tent for my perpetual I'm setting up... hoping my seeds arrive today.

Take a look at those octopots.. I like them. Easy systems to get along with really..

I'll be looking on setting up 9 of them for a 4 plant rotation and mother for cloning. Cnt wait for it

Day 17- morning

2 days after repotting they are definitely looking much better, looks like it was just time for some nutrients to make them happy

Nice I check them out

Should I remove these dieing leaves or just leave them be? They seem to be slowly turning green again

Take them lower ones off buddy. They are going to wither and die anyway.

Use pruning techniques to maximize growth where you want it..

Take the lower fan leaves as she grows leaving branchwork growing.

Personally I like to defoliate the waste regularly and hard. Others like to leave them in place.

The fan leaves serve 2 purposes that both add to why they grow bigger..

1. Photosynthesis. The bigger the more area coverage but sometimes these leaves can block light so you want to tuck or take them away.

2. Fuel. They store water and nutrients for when the soil/medium goes dry.

Since we generally provide copious amounts of light and we give food on demand, we don't need the fuel reserve so much..

There are some good tutorials for heavy defoliation and when to do it properly allowing for recovery time ect.

Type heavy defoliation into the search up the top.

Other then that. Th quickly clip those 1st leaves at the bottom. They arnt much help now.

They looking good. The plants look healthy and great color. Some strains grow faster than others..As for the mega crop, I don’t use it but have heard nothing but amazing things about it. Not sure if you checked out the Mega Crop thread below
Mega Crop
Hope all is well. Magic
