ok so actual update.
lost three outdoor plants...they were eaten....DAMN U ANIMALS!...was too lazy to put repellent around so i get what i deserve i guess. BUT ITS OK!
...still three more outside.

and the ones indoors are doing just fine. i think ones beginning to show signs its a female...bottom picture, 2nd from the right, missing a leaf. should know in a few more days.
moved them to my closet for more privacy. close calls with the guests and such. but the smell is what i imagined...pretty strong.
as soon as the plants were moved there, my closet reeked. burned some incense....running out of incense.
need a legit alternative soon. any ideas?

the 4ft fluoro is hung up by rope so its easy to adjust the height as plants grow and what not.
laid the plants over some old cardboard, save the carpet.
fans in there...runs most of the day.
it stays pretty warm in there. humidity isn't as high but i read more mature plants dont need as much humidity as young ones...hoping it doesn't cause problems.
couple plants in there have nute problems it seems...could it be just old leaves dying off?

still need to invest in some nutes....

since losing the 3 outside...

i have a few sprouts i've sorta neglected to replace them.
OR!
i can plant new/better seeds down and have better plants to replace them.

...or i could do both and have tons of plants....which sounds appealing.

sorry for the brief period of abandonment. let me know what you guys think!

I think for smell, either get yourself some ONA block asap, works like a charm, sorry about the outdoor girls, if at first you don't succeed, keep planting more seeds lol

ok sweet. i officially have a female. there are definitely some white wisps poking out. i tried taking some pictures but they dont show a whole lot of detail. def keeping that one indoors. i figure ill keep the certifiable female inside and eventually clone her.

bought a small febreeze air purifier from walmart. with just the one plant in there its still noticable i think.

move the other indoor plants to a new outdoor site. which seems more secure than the sites i used earlier.

have some new seeds down. they were some of the biggest fattest seeds i'v ever seen.
im hoping for some good things. should sprout in a couple days.

new update soon.

thanks peri!
haha just got the first sprout, seed coat and all.
yea fuxin varmints.
thought i'd go to walmart to get some kind of repellent to protect them
but im considering a more home-made alternative.
moth balls anyone?

if you can you could always put chicken wire all around it so the bigger animals don't get to it and I believe there's a type of spray u can use on the plant itself to ward off insects

yea i've been looking into buying some neem oil.
keep bugs away.
i may put down something around the area to keep animals away...
cant afford to have anymore plants getting eaten up and all.
i still need to prep the area.
we'll see how it goes

Congrats on the female and new seeds. You know, that's funny you say that the seeds you have are the fattest seeds you've run into, because I just found some the other day that were really big as well. Should be interesting to see what they are. ;-)

thanks guys.
can't wait to see these lil ones get going.
keeping the new sprouts under the 24/0 shoplight.
guess they'l look good after 3 or 4 weeks there.

as far as what i know there no evident way to determine a seeds sex.
be so much more convenient if there were... =/
