DWC: The beginning

okay do this record how much solution drops a day and ppm and ph every day for a week . leave the ph alone unless it drops below 5.5 if it does during this period of data collection simply raise it to what your starting ph was .

In regards to length of veg ..I do not suggest flipping to 12/12 until the plant is showing sex which is it saying it is mature and that genral does take 4-6 weeks ..it varies after it has shown signs of sex you can flip at anytime after that .

how I can measure the water drops ?

When I should feed more (like 700 ppm)?

I took measures today, ppm is dropping a little bit, pH got from 5.8 to 6.0.

I have removed somes leaves and do a little bit of LST.

my ladies are 9 ", and 6-7" height with 10 colas on each.

I am wondering when to switch to flo? its been 6 weeks since the seedling.

thoses are all females?

I use ones from Apollo Horticulture. Found them on amazon, and use them with the blurple light that I use for vegging my peppers/tomatoes/herbs for my outdoor garden. No real complaints. I'm not blind yet. :) Paid about 12.5€ equivalent.

I would link to them, but not sure if that's allowed or not.

Haven't tried them with my new full spectrum lights yet, but they should be fine.

See, ppm drops and ph rises. Thats the sweet spot mate :)
keep it there untill the numbers start moving too fast then empty the res and go up by 50% and you should keep it bang on the money.
Less is more my man, dont think you need to add more nutes cos theyre getting bigger. Just follow the numbers on the sticks and pay attention for yellowing tops or botttoms, rusty spots or blotchy mid growth.
Tops yellow is iron def so up the micro.
Bottoms yellow up the nitrogen which is in the base nutes.if anything turns dark green or tips claw down then drop it back a little.
Rusty spots or patchy mids and they need a shot of calmag.
Thats all you should need to look out for if you keep feeding how you are. Nothing else can really go wrong doing it that way :)

little update from today.

i raise the ppm from 300 to 600.

pH is set to 5.75
temp is around 27 C.
humidity is 45%.

i've added 2 mL of calmag, 2 mL of floramicro and 2 mL of floragrow.

I found the not too tall and I dont know whay to do to get them taller / bigger...

normally I put the lamp 16 to 20 inches above the top of the plant.

but itsn't my first DWC and I noticed that how ever the height of the lamp (6", 12", 16", 24") the plant do not stretch more.

I never had a plant taller than 18 " ....

As for topping you can do it as many times as you like, but I would stop a week before you switch them for flowering.
Raise your light up to 24 inches if you can until you go into flowering.

This is what I understand from the reading I have been doing.

I tried already to raise it to 24 inches, they never get taller.

So why I should raise it ? The LED light do not heat, it is because of the Lumens ?

little update after 5 days of flo, seems to be nice.

do I need to increase the pH to 6? and ppm around 1,000?

humidity is around 48% and temp is 26 C.

@Skunks do I need to top again ?

I raised ppm around 800 and pH is set to 6.3.

Am I wrong ?

Just follow the ppm mate. If it's going up it's too strong so add more water.
You want it dropping just a little from day to day. That will keep it in the sweet spot for the pH to behave itself.
Looks good though :)
