Re: DWC Master Kush and White Widow LST & Scrog--Round 2
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend.
Today is day 21 since flip to 12/12 so I went to change reservoirs and feed my girls, they are looking good. The Widow grew into the light again, so time for a trim, and the kush's still haven't stopped stretching yet, they are only a few inches from the light in the taller closet. The Kush's are so much bigger this grow, feeding the right amount of nutes or at least not overfeeding seems to have really pushed their growth.
The Defoliation in the White Widow closet went without a hitch, I hardly took anything off at all, only cleaned up under the screen and removed and leaves and small bud sites that weren't getting any direct light. I did prune the two tallest branches that had grown into the lights, and did a lot of bending an supercropping of the other tall branches. I also managed to move my light up another 2 or 3 inches, so hopefully this will be enough room for the rest of the grow.

The Widow has grown into the light again.
Buds are starting to stack.

The Defoliation on in the Kush closet also went well, but I'm afraid I took a little too much off the bottom. It was just so think and there were lots of small branches that started below the screen but only grew about a foot above the screen, and were still completely buried by the rest of the plant, and getting no light. By the time I cleaned everything up and stood back for a look they were a little more bare than I anticipated. The canopy is still super lush, with tons of tops, and looking from the top down you can't see through the canopy to the reservoir, so still thick, but a little bare at the bottom. I'm sure they will be fine though. I put up the second screen to help with separation and support of the plants but still no bud development on the Kush's, especially when compared to the widow, hopefully the defol will stop the stretch so they can start working on buds now.

The view when I opened the Kush closet, one of the branches is actually touching the light in this closet now.
As soon as I open the doors to the closet the plants are almost falling out, Its like undoing your belt after a big meal.
