Purely by coincidence @CoffeeShopSeeds order 3/3 arrived, where the bloody hell #2 ever went is anyones guess. Probs knocked over by Vic stationed customs.

So in this order came the first Barneys. Just a shame must have missed CSS Barneys promo by a couple days which had a Barneys freebie Auto and Acapulco fem with a 3 pack, a bit gutted.

Dropping in a quick update.

As the weather cools things have started to slow up.

AUTOS.

GG4 definitely split into 2 mains of its own accord. Not sure what to make of it, but its been a mutant from the get go. Whether genetics or environmental influence is the cause couldnt say for sure. My best guess is genetics.

Once I do another run in more ideal controlled conditions it should be apparent.

Will be a shame not to try and capture that trait but being an Auto I just do not have the time. Perhaps any advantage is only minimal, topping and tying would suffice, but if it was transferable in an Auto I could see how two mains, if replication was true, would be a desired trait in an auto strain.

They arent the bst pics but you an see the natural split in them.

Northen Lights Auto.

This girl has heart, and good compact growth. Am I amazed at her? No. She still ticks along though. Put her up a pot size yesterday. Random thrip must have come by. All in all Im probably starving them a little, but they took a bit to get going so Ive tried not to push them past their limits. The natural content in their media is available and Ive supplemented with worm tea on top of 2 bottle feeds.

Couple of shots from last week.

They are all yellowing on the underside. My gut says N values, the consistent fade to yellow is my reasoning.

They all recieve a bottle, and on top I put a castings/kelp/epsom/nettle mix through them with castings top dress.

The Roo eaten one, and the main snap seem to be fine.


Caged girls at home are ok. Really got encouraged by the runtiest one, its like a slow stacking bonsai. Its in the smallest size pot by far, its a bit of an eye opener how much you can get out of a smaller container. Ive pushed them hard, to see where the limit is.



Visited J yesterday, hes prob 3 weeks from finishing his first ones. They are boss, from top to bottom solid and filled in. His mains have needed support. It will easily be a huge haul in terms of g/m3 and g/day. That I think is the measure of outdoors that can be missed sometimes. They arent massive overflowing monsters, they are manicured mid height madness. For his 3rd full season its fucking impressive. Got the touch.

Your outdoor plants are looking pretty lush overall DV8. Altho, where you have them situated they look to be the only green things for miles, so they probably are a bit of a green salad magnet to any roos that are jumping past, but overall they seem fairly untouched, which is promising!

Oh they got some on the edges I saw today. Not sure whats more resilient, them or the plants.

It is like cocaine to them, they will push things over, and crawl around on the ground to get at them.

I kept that male not too far away but close to their trials so to discourage them from the lady folk. Time will tell.
 
The busted main that got supercropped was maybe a bit of a blessing, still powering on, seems to be nil effect.

The upside is it still fits the cage, had to gently massage a couple sideways as they finish the stretch. In 4 days they hit the ceiling, the photos dont look much but they definitely wanted to go up. Had maybe 3 inches, a good two before they were on the wires when I left the other day and were slightly folded and pushing hard today.

Hope theres not too much left in them.

Pretty sure one had a sack or two on it, hardly surprised given their treatment. Deed was done though, which makes me think Im not mistaken in them being male parts. Just near the top which is where Ive seen them go hermi before.

Time will tell. Just counting the days till its over, not as sprite as I once was.
