Dutty Panty's Adventures in High Brix Budland

Well we took some of this. No hike but did get lunch at my favorite 40+ beer on tap joint. Then a Lil boat cruise.

Non hb Dutch treat. Can't wait to try the HB Dutch

I think the terpene profile on docs test will be way different than the house and garden one. Thc will be really close. I've also got the Pestelence side by side too.

OG and chemdawg based genetics are very salt loving beasts. Also heavy feeders. They have been bred for extremely high nutrient uptake. And that has developed the terpene profile people have come accustomed too ie:diesel gasoline type smells. With high brix the sugar levels are higher and gives a more sweet profile. Doc should answer this with the more technical jargon but that's the base of it

Right on. Cheers, Brother.
I've really enjoyed "over-hearing" your (you and DocBud's) conversation. Farmers and hobbyists have a different mind-set I've noticed. Neither better nor worse, just different.

You mentioned that you do some home-brewing also. Have you ever grown Hops? Fun plant to grow and does great in the PacNW. It's a perennial too, so once the beds are set up, they go and go. There's a good way to grow them on my thread if you're interested. Fun, beautiful and easy.
Stay cool

Funny you bring that up today I was gonna buy some starts and grow them next to my house south facing so I can have more coverage for my outdoor plants.

Dutty...man,gotta tell ya, i'm lovin these side by side comparisons your doing. I'm very interested in your take on turpenes and flavours. As you said ,THC will prolly be close but the taste difference will be huge. Yield will be close as well,i suspect. I was going to mention to Doc that last night i opened a jar of Mazar that had only one burp in over three weeks done to it...they were larger colas in the jar....anyhow i broke off a couple bigger ,bottom nugs and tried em....what a difference from how it tasted off the wire. That piney taste has come thru for me ,and i'm some stoked about it. Have a great day Dutty...cheers.:passitleft:

HB Beer? that's a good idea.

Everything from animal feed/forage, fruits, vegetables and grains should be High Brix and non-GMO. Imagine the beef from cattle that eat high brix grass and forage?

Many of us have tried to veggies, but imagine the beef, the veggies, the dessert AND the beer AND the weed all high brix!

BTW, the wine industry has insisted on high brix grapes for a long, long time. Isn't it time we did the same for food?

I completely agree and would love to see that, Doc. Unfortunately, there are some evil companies out there that do not want that.

but I would love to try HB grass fed beef. I couldn't imagine. I haven't tried anything HiBrix, that I can think of. I plan on growing some veggies myself :)

Wow I've missed a lot here. Been so busy lately. Anyway I'm all caught up and Dutty, you are the man! I love the videos and I don't need to tell you your plants are fantastic, you already know that. Looking forward to the test results. I will be testing everything from now on to. Have a good one Dutty.:thumb:

Eventually high brix will overtake Organic once everyone learns the truth about how High Brix means nutrient dense, and organic does not mean nutrient dense.

I went on a Hunting trip once in Canadian Wine Country, the Deer in the Area fed on Soybean, Corn, Alfalfa, Apples, I am guessing grapes at some point. The meat was unlike anything I had ever tasted, no need for seasoning, it was rich and smelled like fresh butter when unwrapped, I even passed on having Pepperettes made because even the cuts of meat that are usually garbage were prime ground meat candidates.

When I get a few extra acres I will be buying a few cattle and cycling them through a few high brix amended plots of alfalfa, easy to do with an electric fence setup, and a grass fed cow is a hundred times more healthy to eat than a feed lot corn fed cow with toxic fat.

Yep! Full agreement.
