Dutchman’s 1st Grow Ever: 2018

Knowledge is a great thing to have so anything I can learn to possibly use or pass on to someone else is valuable so I would love to see a picture @Mr. Krip

Thanks my man!
Just remove the squeeze clip from one of the ends of the wire, then thread the wire through the squeeze clip and attach both ends of the wire to the carrabiner, effectively folding the wire in half with the squeeze clip in the middle:

Quick Update !
What’s up everyone! Hope your well.

Just wanted to do a photo dump for now and do a big update tomorrow since I’m off!

Ahh sweet ok ! I see how you did that and very handy! If I see any light stress I’ll try that and see if I can get it up a bit more but I don’t think the big girl is going to mind one bit!

Thanks brother !:passitleft:

So far so good! Few hours in the tent and temps went up about 2’F. So were right around 80-83’F now which I can handle.

She seems to love the new addition so far and I’m excited to see how much this LED will help with end yield and quality !

Plants look killer there Dutch. You got all the advice that you need on options for the new light. I use shorter hanger wires as well. I am not sure why they ship them with wires that long. If you need them to hang that is what yo-yo's are for.

One difference with the reflector leds like you have is that the light that comes from them is very focused so it is a little different than HID. You have plenty of head room in there as far along as you are in bloom. I hope they blow up for you on the way to the finish line.

Hell yea Dutch those plants look great! That’s a sweet lookin canopy. The lollipop job is spot on, it will pay off for sure I do it every time indoors also. early miss looks like real champ!

Hey everyone!! What an awesome day I’ve had so far!

I got to meet and hangout with @playerunknown this morning and see his girls and setup! Looking great so far my man!

So while I was there we went ahead and took some cuttings off his Critical+2.0 ....so now I’m going to have to do my best at keeping these girls alive and getting some roots on them. Thanks again player for allowing me the opportunity to possibly grow your critical+ out with you!

Such an amazing community here at 420 and awesome that we are able to meet and make new friends!

On to other things..... MAIL TIME!!! That’s right... My LED came in the mail and it’s time to set that baby up!

...... But I had some questions regarding the “acclimation period” and need someone who’s experience wil LEDs to help!! Lol

Ok so before I just rush in and put this new LED above my EM who’s well into flower now. The owners manual says to give the plants a 3-5day acclimation period at 10-14hrs per day with only “VEG” switch on at a height of 36-40” above the canopy. Now.... the time is fine at 12/12 but my question is the acclimation period can I put both bloom and veg switch on to make sure I’m keeping the higher red spectrum? Or would it stress the plants!
