dang sorry you didn't like your 1st time. I personally hate to take caffeine with my oil, it does the same thing you experienced to me also.

making it into some muffins I think you will like it much more AND WITHOUT CAFEINE :), takes care of the taste and neg effects you had previously. but really not everyone likes edibles, my brother hates them, my wife likes one here and there and I eat some every single day. to each their own, just hope you don't end up having to waste it:)

Mornin SGA,thanks for taking the time to explain the medebles thing. I'm going to make 6 or 8 muffins tonight with the GF....so I will get a real good idea if it's our thing ,or not. I know the butter is potent enough,that's for sure ,so we'le see. And ya,you don't like that feeling with caffeine and CBD's fighting each other either....good to know it's just not me!LOL!
Why does your brother dislike medebles bro?....just wondering eh!
I plan on using 1/2 of the butter I made ,for these muffins,so it hopefully will be a nice first time for the GF.:rofl:

Good morning Duggan!
Man what a day it is where I am today, the weather is amazing! I hate being stuck in this office everyday!!! :)

my brother dosent like medibles because of the narcotic effect generally experienced...hes a smoking machine but just doesn't care for the typically, fairly heavy couch lock. but I eat mine for a sleep aid 2 hours before bed so I go to sleep right away, where with out I may stay awake for an hour or more before sleeping.

So about that update.....NICE!:bravo:

Plants look great and those nugs look real nice!! id say you def have some Nomination worthy meds going here!

SGA....nice weather???? where?? I'm in Ontario Can.,and right now the weather is not nice,cold(around 32F) and raining.Not nice for my youngest and trick or treating tonight! No boys this weekend so I have a little time to R&R .Still have to take him to hockey Sat. and be at his soccer Sun.and then go and play hockey myself Sun. night. I get it with your brother...I hope tonight goes well w/ the muffins. Told the GF not to make plans to leave for a while after we try em!LOL! Zig,...36grow, wow ,the muffin man LOL! Well ,last night we each ate one medium sized muffin in amongst our activities ;) It was very MELLLLLOOWWW. Basically couldn't really move too much....watched the Wings beat the Stanley Cup champs :bravo: She said this morning over breakfast that "it's not for her". Said she just felt bagged!LMFAO! I prolly should have had another one....well maybe not LOL! We had a real hoot of a time though. The whole night was good. At least it didn't over power her ,like i was afraid of happening.

Hey SGA , it felt ok bro! Have 7 muffins left....don't know if i should freeze a few or what? The affects are so much different cuz they are spread out over a longer time instead of puffing and then wammo! I liked it but wouldn't want to eat any and have anything too "involved" to do.At night for a sleep aid or just to unwind big time! Maybe with more of a Sativa dom strain for some more "get up &go".

Started two "fem" Mazar seeds a few hours ago ,so will be watching them very closely....seeds are tiny little green things.Very small. hope to get them in one gal. H.B. soil (first run) by Mon. morn.

Well, had a little time this aft. since i decided against the "tree clean-up" work out back! Took a few last pics of stuff before giving back my GF's. cam. Couple pics of where the little Mazar's will live for about 4-5 weeks ,till the MK's. are done. That is Doc's. first run soil ,BTB,with a twist of leaves scraps& roots,w/a little added "roots" . Bin cookin for about 2,1/2 months or more,i figure. Looks real nice ! those four flour. lamps in that fixture are T-8, 6500K's. I only burn two of em for the first couple weeks, then turn on the other two for another week or two. By that time ,they're dyin to get in the flower room,in they're big pots.

So ,i couldn't resist snappin a few more shots of the girls here...had to give them a drench w/energy,tea,and a bit of epsoms.(one tspn./2 gal's.) . Her at the back there...what a stringy thing she is....the buds are getting too heavy for her already...frekin pipe cleaners everywhere,trying to beat her a little longer. Soon she will be stationary, as i 'll have strings helping her. The one out front (POTM entry)
still has things under control in that dept. Diff. pheno. Her buds are more resinous (the back one) and still have a ways to go! Yikes.

Next photo update will be when the Mazar's are up and boogien! Cheer, all enjoy the pics.:circle-of-love:

Hey there SGA...good day brother! Ya ,I used recharge two weeks before flower ,just like previous two MK's.Also top dressed w/ w.w. ewc's. as well. Everything on this grow was done the exact same except for one time I sprayed when the lights were a bit too close and it was at the start of the light cycle ,that's why some upper cluster leaves went all crispy on me.The vegetation a little further down is perfect.....live and learn.
Oh ya btw...the muffins were good ....but it's a different feeling ,that's for sure bud! The GF said it totally bagged her, couldn't move off the couch....should have seen us....what a mess...just couldn't get up! What a hoot!Have a great day pal ,got to get back to work....just stopped by a computer to check the mag.Cheers.

Ya eh....you wouldn't think these two have another 4 weeks to go eh....big juicy colas....lovin dude!

I must have just missed it but didn't see where and if you added some recharge to the mk's, I went back a couple pages with no luck, really just looking for a quick answer . and just to be clear I mean top dressed into the mix because im clear that we all add it the the recooked soil.:high-five:

Thanks for clearing it up for me buddy:thanks: just trying to follow is the "footsteps" of those big ol buds :)

Hey you guys ...Von D and Xbones...thanks for stoppin by.No traffic lights needed in my journal LOL! The buds just keep getting heavier and heavier...just looked today after work and that back one is starting to fall all over itself.....ah ..i like the challenge.I'm hoping for 1.25 lbs. w/ these two, should be real close. Last two weighed in at 15.95 or so oz's. and these two were grown a little bigger,so we'le see.The limiting factor is definetley the size of pots and then a close second would be the pars hitting them. I might go to 15 gal's. next time with the Mazar's coming up. Dunno yet. Cheers all......oh ya ,i'm patiently waiting for my two Mazar's to break the soil....fingers crossed!:high-five:

SGA...with the recharge....I found that giving the recharge a little earlier than Doc's. instructions worked well for me last grow. I gave it to them before i started the journal...about two weeks or so before flip. Don't forget also SGA that i continue to veg mine for a few weeks or a month before i even flip them.So they really get to go...in the big pots.Giving it to them early like that just gives the rocks more time to be usable ...know what i mean bro? Not sure how Doc feels about that but it seemed to really help last time so i continue to do it.Cheers eh,and have a great night pal!:passitleft:

Works for me Duggan! When you grow another strain, you might want to do it the 3rd week and see how it works. You may very well have figured out a key piece to the puzzle of how to grow salt lovers by giving the re-charge early. Hmmmm........this is very interesting!

Doc, i just feel that given the need for minerals all thru growth ,it was looking like they would benefit more if they were more usable for the crop growing in it .I've read that it takes a while for them to break down enough to be used by the plant....even with a healthy soil. I think two factors in it all is how long will the plant be vegged in it's final home....and how big will it be at chop? well for me ,it was going to be vegged longer than "kit" instructions (4-6 weeks) of course being very demanding on the soil,possibly using up avail. rocks and things?When i apply the recharge,it gets scratched into the soil a bit ,then i cover it with a good inch or more of ewc.Then they get a drink.Maybe by tweeking like this a little ,it buys a little more time or size. Thanks for stopping by ,and btw your LED tray is lookin very nice.

I think that's great Duggan. It's somewhat an individual thing how we apply the products with regard to timing, etc. Keep experimenting. That's how we figure this stuff out and continue improving, and it helps all of us.
