Good Sunday morning to everyone! Hockey evals. went well this morning...but man ,getting out of the sack at 6:30 on a Sun. morning is NOT cool! Maybe take a nap today. Gonna throw up some pics of the group tonight....they are really packing on some weight and the Lilly is exploding ...the two Lanny's are chugging along making more resin and still shooting out fresh pistils. Tonight the Lanny's will get a GE Drench , while the Lilly looks to be ready for a third CD. She just looks like she would really benefit from it and still have plenty of time for a few "just water" drinks and then back to GE for her finish. Right now , it looks like they will finish very close to each other but still a lil early to tell. Have an awesome day gang!

Hey Birdie, happy Sunday to ya'l! Hockey went ...just OK. Ryan can do much better ..FFS's, he had fun but was a lil "off", ya know.....his skating wasn't crisp as usual, a lil sloppy at times...and would always pass first when he gets the bisket. He has the speed and skill to do much more but still hasn't figured out how to be very aggressive . He will...it just takes a bit longer. I'm gonna throw him in a clinic this week , just to get him back on the ice fast! He has worked hard all summer to get better prepared and gain more skill, speed , etc, so to see him have an "off" day on his first day of Evals. sucked a bit, but he still had fun , like i said. Top of the day to everyone. Well , I spoke too soon about my son having just an "OK" tryout....got an email last night from the "select" coach, inviting Ryan to tryout for it......so proud.....he can't do it though. My vehicle barely gets me to work and back let alone traveling in the middle of winter out of town...no way ! with NO cell phone...that's just a stupid disaster waiting to happen , one cold night on a deserted highway , miles from help. As well there are other obstacles too...like an additional ...ya I said additional 740 bones, right off the top! + Wed. morning 6:30 am practices ...how would I manage that when he doesn't even live with me not to mention that would mean being an hour late for work for 16 consecutive Wednesdays. It's too bad cuz he has worked hard all summer on the ice with various camps , courses and programs. He understands...I think I feel worse than him at this point but if things improve for me over the next yr...then next season ....maybe, until then it's gonna be fun watching him play Houseleague. Cheers gang....oh ya , those pics...I didn't last night cuz they were very thirsty and looked it, so they autta be more photogenic tonight! Cheers gang!

Congrats to your son. The good news is he still gets to play. My mom couldn't afford to send me to football camps when I was in high school but that didn't stop me from excelling and getting a scholarship.
The point is, not all great hockey players played for select teams.
Kids understand better than we think.
