Oh something you might find cool....with these Desfrans...when i pinch the stalks up hi where they're still really wobbly...and flatten out about a 2" section of stalk. When it bounced back two days later that section was about 1-1/2 times ,bigger around. When they repair themselves like that ,they actually improve themselves ...something like a body builder , when they stress and break muscle fibers while lifting ...those muscles get bigger and stronger ...just the same. you know that now...excellent. cheers Snoop...have a nice snooze brotha.

Ya eh Nate ...told ya dude....better watch out. Pretty soon ya look at the clock and it's tellin ya youv'e just spent 2 hrs. on the mag. feels like 20 min's. Maybe that's just cuz i type so fartin slow.
So...you saw the tape measure right...i'l put it in the same spot tomorrow and we'le all see .they got brix tonight btw. As Doc. likes ...i spray mainly the undersides of everything.you have to have a sprayer with a nice fine mist ...no streams. watch out for the lights...they're not as dangerous as HIDS with water but it's still a good habit to get into ...watch the overspray on our nice LEDS. Smokey...ya...alot of us are messin around with these Sativas. They are a challenge to most growers because of their vigour and rate of growth. lotsa fun though. How are your doin for space up top Smokey you gonna be ok. Ziggs has got a few issues with height as well. If he doesn't he autta....messin with those bitchy Sativa girls. Brave man that Z. Fillin up that tent with these freekin things. feel like i'm in that movie "Aliens".

I tol' ya, Duggan, I didn't do my homework on Desfran. I just saw Destroyer x Destroyer and figured, y'know?, it was gonna grow like a Destroyer. It wasn't until you mentioned that you'd been checking around that I realized it may not be the same pheno. And then I get this fluffy thing myself ... ? Next seed order is gonna include another Destroyer.

So ... sheesh. Yours caught me by surprise, too. It has to be partly those big pots of yours. I don't think they know when to stop with all that legroom. They definitely do not look like they're anywhere close to slowing down. Any pistils anywhere? Argh!

Mine are still pretty short no more than a 12 - 18" I have the panama lstd and the other two are crosses. They are just now showing sex so the stretch hasn't even begun on mine yet. I expect the panama to get pretty tall. I started her in a 5gal pot to try and keep her smaller and I might transplant about half way into a 10 or 15 depending on how it goes. I had a couple panama males that were culled, one was in a 2gal and the other in a 5. The one in the 2 gal stayed nice and compact with not much space between nodes at all, the one in the 5 not so much.

Yeah, not so impressed. It's the DP through Herbies. Who know how it'll turn out but it's definitely a fluffy hazey pheno. I liked Utopia Haze just fine but it was a b*tch to grow with bad odds at finishing well. I've had her in a 1.5 gallon pot until now and she suffered a little from it. She should perk up now that she's in 6 gallons. But I may hack off a big chunk of the top and try to grow a multi-limbed fluffy. Maybe I should just bloom it untrained. Dunno ...

Guys, maybe I'll toss one up to help you play it cool with sativas in limited space. First thing it's a mistake to veg them in big pots. I wouldn't use anything bigger than a gallon pot. Why? Sativas grow deep branchy rootball and they do it quickly, so by limiting space underneath you control the height and the stretching. Second, start training before you filp by using LST. You're gonna have to prune and tie them down, and prune and tie them down, but you can control the height quite well this way. Third, flip when they still have no more than 5-6 nodes, they will triple or quadruple in size in flower, so you're gonna finish with a big plant anyway. And then limit your GE tea to minimum with these strains as they are natural nitrogen suckers, that's the kind of genetics unfortunately. Go with CAT drench, super drench or whatever Doc provided you with twice if you have to, just push her into reproduction rather early and you're gonna spare yourself some pain in the ass

Im filling a SWICK with the My seeds of the ACE (Z'ACE ) Sativas next... 11/13 from seed in a SWICK should be sick..

Mornin Conradino...Ya friggen Sativas eh. I did all that except ,of course I vegged too long and vegging was in my monster pots ,so I guess I get what I deserve with em. I did that to get the expected yield I need.With these three Desfrans i'de like to see around 22-25 z's.I know if I can manage the canopy and keep SC'ing and tieing down i'l do it. It's waiting for full on bloom to start that's drivin me nuts. They still have a solid 20" they can shoot so....Have a great day Conradino and thanks for the ideas. Have a great day bud.
