Well,it would be cool to hook up ,if you r gonna get close to S. Ontario. Toronto area... And yes Dutty ,your recomendations to stay away from Chemdawg line or the OG's. is good advise,for sure. But now with Doc's. hi salt drench he has ....i'de still rather stick with as close to landrace as possible....seems to open up new possibilities with the intro. to such a change (in some cases) in soil...for the better.With my last Mazar,i may regret letting more people try it....they keep asking for more.
Gotta book....got my boys this weekend...goin for a BBq, cheers Gang.
Mybrare darkness are literally a combo of ogs and chemdawg lines...we'll see how they do. Maybe I won't give one of them the og drench and see what happens

I'l tell ya what's gonna happen....Without added Mg ,via epsoms and ,or Doc's. new OG Drench that plant will suffer to the point that youle' just wanna fix it....and you will , so ,unless you can resist the temptation to "fix" her than.....
The plant will start to show mg. shortage by curling up ,of larger leaves at the edges,or canoeing as some say. We all know this anyway....i'm just ramblin....sorry Gang.
When i looked in on the three tonight....it's May 24th....flipped to 12/12....all remaining lights turned on.....canopy is nice and even at 20" above soil. Extra light in GR is always a cool site , i must say!

Ya mon....with your og/chemdawg strains...to avoid Mg shortage...start giving Epsoms at 1 teaspoon /gal.for three consecutive drinks ,starting before they need it! Then go a couple drinks without. You don't want to visibly change anything too drastically....just give them some readily avail. Mg. ,before they're crying for it. If you keep giving them some all will be fine. If they look great mid. flower,don't give them any more....just enough to avoid a shortage.
A cool tip for giving Epsoms is....warm up a glass of water in the micro. then just stir in the Epsoms...they dissolve real fast and completely this way.,then just pour into your canand mix up a bit....works great Scrubbs. cheers to ya! Gotta grab a Stella.

Ya Boogs....ask Doc about it...he'l help ya out with it ,i'm sure.
Yessir! It's for the Frankenstrains Boogy! The kit was formulated with landrace strains in mind. When we have strains that have strayed far from their landrace genetics it take a lil nudge to keep it in tiptop shape...thus the OG drench. My rare darkness is rare dankness #1 (florida og x triangle og x chemdawg) x grape ape. Its a Frankenstrain! A salt lover...meaning it should do better in hydro. Well, the Kit isnt hydro so Doc (and a few other kit growers) decided we needed a lil something else...thus the OG drench! Doc will iterate im sure...Doc?

Yes there is Nate....Mazar is much closer to a Landrace. Has only Afghani and Skunk#1 in it's make up.It's 80% Afghani x 20% sk.#1I'm not sure what's all in the Mazari...There are a few strains that use the Afghani as a building block. It came from a specific area in the Mazar ,i sharif Mountains. Hoped this helped a bit Nate. A final thought on the Mazar from D.P.....i'm def. gonna grow it again....i really like the smoke and the buzz is very nice and not too punishing.Cheers eh. Hey Nate...just did some looking on the Mazari....they claim it has the same make up as the Mazar....made up of Afghani and Skunk#1....not sure of this breeder's %'s. though.It looks good though....why...can you not get a hold of the D.P. Mazar?

With my Pestelence s1 which is Chem and og lines I'll be using the og drench and epsom. I'm just about to start.

Ya eh Scrubbs....i remember when i was first asking Doc about strains way back and i asked him what he thought of MK Ultra and he coined the phrase...."Frankenstrains". That Mk was only made up of OG Kush x G13. It did very well in our soil as my POTM win showed. I wound up growing it three times in H.B.They did need additional salt via Epsoms to really come thru properly though.Cheers bud!

I also a grew mk-ultra with Doc's blend and it was my favorite smoke out of the 4 strains i had. Not the prettiest (probably because of the environment). It destroyed every clone only cut I've tried since being here in Colorado.

Hey there FF...ya i still have some of the MK around and your right ...it does taste nice eh.Very strong though ,hard hitting.unforgiving. Comparing the Mazar and MK Ultra...the Mazar has a bit more of an "up" buzz and is a little clearer in the head. The Bubblehash from the two is something else all together. It hits hard,fast and keeps coming....very nice clean buzz...that's Bubblehash though eh.

You've really got you stuff together with that Mazar. Those Desfran are looking stellar too!
I just moved here a couple months ago and i packed light..
Long story short is i ran out of what i had a little over a month after i got here. So ive got my mmj card and the quality from the dispensaries has been a real disappointment since switching from my high brix calcium built buds to their potassium built buds.
I brought my high brix soil with me. I have some going in it right now but they won't be ready for another 3 months.

No I'm sure I could get some Mazar beans......I just wondered if that auto I grew with Mazari in it was similar.......it's sounds like it is, my auto seed was a freebie, so I was happy that it gave me back bout 3 o's of mellow smoke, have a great day duggs, I'm working on my first journal now I'll let you in on when it gets up and going
