They are definitely looking good specially their top stars..but it's a team effort in the long run. What did Ovechkin say about my leafs . They need to decide are they playing for themselves or a team to win a cup.
He was right on the money with that comment. Funny though that they played the data after those comments from ovi and caps won in ot but 4-3 or something and majority of points came from Matthews and ovi . Team effort ?.

Ya..me too...i figured around 27 .....28 or so.
Those last two weeks really mattered as far as finished weight .
They didnt seem to do much those last 10 days or so but its obvious they continued to fatten up and resin glands had plenty of time to mature properly.
I even broke the colas right down this time too, so the 'lumber' wouldnt affect the finished weight.
Anyhow, I'm very happy with breaking that elusive two pound mark again. I think I've finally figured things out. .ha..
Tonight when i get home i will properly sample the two strains and post my comments. Cheers everyone...enjoy the day....even though its a wet one...yuk.

That’s exactly it! The leafs were a strong team last year, but your absolutely right! It’s a team effort! One person can’t carry the team! The leafs needed some second, and third line scoring!
I haven’t been following hockey as much as I like to, because we don’t have cable anymore. So I’ve just been checking out the scores.
Edmonton was a strongteam, (what was it three years ago now) the year my daughter was born. I remember having a fire in the back, brought a tv out and wireless cable box. Watched game 5 of Edmonton and San Jose (I think) outside around the fire. then in second OT Edmonton lost, but my wife went into labor right after. Then went two years without even making the playoffs. I agree, it would be nice to have that 100 million dollar contract see some playoffs!!

Hey gang....i'm still here....just sat down. It's all in the jars,..and i got numbers..
FYI, all the colas were broken down considerably.
593 grms of Lemon Zkittles and 410 grms of Bubba Hash...totaling 1003 grms.
Divided by 28.3 =35.4 oz's.
A big congrats to the old Salty.....who guessed it perfectly at 35.4. Waddaya know....cheers ya old fart...oh,..i mean salt....
A few pics of things, minus a couple jars that went to my sis. These are the 1/2 gal. size.
OK, so anyhow the lids on these (once situated) have been left 'cracked' open. I will check them daily and adjust lids accordingly to get things perfect, then tighten the lids down for the cure.
I wanna thank all you gang a mine. Such a hoot havin ya'l with me doin this. Cheers to all of ya who hung around and enjoyed this journal. Its been fun.

Looks like your pulling those LB's consistently now.
I want to ask you a question on your half gallon jars if you don't mind. Looks to me like 12 in the pic, maybe a couple to sis if I read that post correctly.
How many did it take for 35.4 zips?
I have 20 of the amber half gallon jars, and 12 of the lids in the pic below. My thinking was use the lids to help keep an eye on curing. And when a new harvest comes in transfer anything left over to the jars with the standard lids.
What do you think?

Hello gang. Hope ya'l had a good day . here are the last pre harvest pics of my four very ripe ladies. Colas and buds are coated with goodness and heavy. Garden looks a bit pitiful TBH,. A lot of tops are not visible cuz of 'floppy' syndrom.
the smell is unbelievable...smells so strong..like sweet candy ....but pungent.
Can't wait to try em. anyhow , get all your guesses in before Sat., as that's day 74 since flip and it's CHOP day. i have Mare and my sis helping , so should go fast.

This is prolly the only time i would say i like my ladies on the heavy side

Ya..that sounds proper with your lids idea bud. Pretty sure that was 14 , 1/2 gal. jars .
I like those lids too but over the yrs. I've just got the hang of wats wat as far as drying and curing goes. I like that ive gotten a real feel for when to jar ,remove lids, tighten lids, leave off etc.
