Duggan Does Blueberry Twist In Doc's Gear - Two Pots - 4 Plants - 1 Kit

okay Duggs.....I bought T-8 bulbs and they were not right....took them back and found out the bulb I took with me was a T-12....duh...I can be dense sometimes....so, 60 miles later I inserted the bulbs and the light did not come on....another return trip in my future....I read on Utube that it could be another part on the light fixture.....jesus god.....so I put an expensive LED light on the veg plants on veg mode....over some 30 seeds I am trying to hatch....I soak for 24 hours, put in paper towels until I see a tail and then plant....and then the anxiety begins.....crazy shit going on here....

Meanwhile, as I shut down the flower room #2 tonite, these tall ass plants are blowing my mind.....incredible....

Great morning to ya Shawnee,..FFS's woman ...I feel your frustration!! Ok , ya those T12's are ancient...they run on a magnetic old school ballast. The T8's will run on an electronic ballast. Unfortunately , they only work with the matching ballast if ya know what I mean. Ok, this what to do ,...when you get back into town OK. Buy those T-8's, as you have and also buy a ballast for them , the fixture can remain cuz the t-12' and T -8's utilize the same sockets , so that is OK, and the fixture is OK. It's very easy to change out that ballast to an electronic one OK. Just make sure you read the ballast code when you buy one and make sure it's 120volts and good for two lamps (assuming your fixture is a 2 lamp one) and not four OK. If your fixture is only one lamp , that's OK , the two lamp ballast will work,..all ya do is 'cap' one of the wires and don't use it. Got all this Shawnee. So get the electronic ballast and simply change it out OK...I can help you if you have any questions. You will need wire strippers , a few #31 marretts and prolly a couple different screw drivers , it's very easy so, don't get overwhelmed or confused OK,..i'm here to help you! Yes Buck , sometimes that's true , indeed, but I 'm pretty sure she can pick up a new T-8 electronic ballast for about 20 bucks which is still way cheaper than getting a whole new fixture. know what ya mean though,...sometimes it is cheaper , depending.... Ya , me too. That's something I do a lot of here at the U. Everyone's going to LED now ...some of the fixtures are a big PITA to work on. The designers didn't think of 'us' did they! Cheers bud!
 
Just got my results, I have 4 ladies. 1-sour strawberry(bog), 2-huckleberry kush, and 1-cherry vanilla cookies

I don't know what some of these companies are thinking when designing some of these new fixtures. PITA Have a great afternoon, we got 1st half outta the way

I just stumbled across these a few days ago. They use the very efficient (180 Lm/W) Samsung LM561C diodes at 1/4 watt - direct replacement for fluorescent tubes (with new LED drivers). :cheesygrinsmiley: 98 of 'em in a 4 ft (44") strip, drawing 23 watts at 1000ma. :slide:

Gotta be fantastic for updating old fixtures - very efficient, very cool, last forever.

... if the school purchased a pile of them, a guy might add 40 of 'em for his own uses ... jus sayin' .... they're only $16 USD each in volume ...
 
okay Duggs and gang....I googled how to replace a T-12 lamp, (yep, I bought T-8 bulbs and had to make a second trip) and found I was installing them turning them clockwise to lock them in and they didn't connect when I plugged the light in.....I needed to turn the bulbs counter clockwise....plugged it in, and voila; there was light.....! So relieved....thank you so much to everyone who reached out to help and give advice, you have no idea how it makes me feel less alone in my trials and tribulations.....so grateful to all of you..... :thanks:

Off days, in bed by 8 and sleep till 9 the next morning. Why anybody wants to stay awake longer is beyond me :ganjamon: unless it is to work in their garden

Ah I hear the White Cookies are a great strain! Congrats you will definitely like them. Which strain did you just harvest now? I have a little Gorilla Glue #4 going which I am properly excited for
 
Ok I have to ask in order for my old brain to soak ! What and how is the submission report a page or two back? Male and female report? Who what when where and how is this done? Looks like Ole Rooster needs to spend even more time :nomo:! If you guys and ladies only knew how lost this ole man was until June of last year. I'd been token on bad/bag weed for years. I didn't have a clue there were so many strains... yep a sheltered life! So thanks to all of you who help this Ole Rooster gain his knowledge and live a much happier life !:thanks:
 
A very good morning to everyone. Got home from my son's hockey game last night to find all 6 DC's had split and were starting to show white. I planted them in four one's that were pre-soaked with a weak Transplant water. The soil in thew one's is a layered affair of third run DBHBB soil on the bottom with straight ProMix on the top half. They are currently in my lil veg. corner under the 4 lamp T-8 fixture with the 6500 K lamps in it . They will stay there until the BT's are harvested , dried and out of the main GR.
The BT's are due for their first of two CD Drenches tonight .The buds and colas have some good structure now and IMO are ready for 'take off!'...Everything is 'on' schedule and going well,....so far...:tokin:
