Duggan Does Blueberry Twist In Doc's Gear - Two Pots - 4 Plants - 1 Kit

Thanks I got 2 of these, best part was they were free. Got 5 15gal pots too.

Thanks duggs, doc hooked me up with a big kit. Qts in everything and 4 of each amendment. I'll be good for next year. I appreciate the advice.

What's wrong with your plants, they shouldn't be that damn purdy, lol. Those blueberry twists look great. Idk whose looks the best, yours or beaves. Have a great weekend duggs

Ya Buck,..no probs my brotha! Thanks eh! So glad you decided to go 'BIG'. good goin with getting a big order too from Doc. He looks after all of us 'brixers' like we were his children....we love him for it....:cheertwo:

Ok gang....some of you are prolly wondering what all this LST and SCing(supercropping) is about and how and when/where we do it,..and why. Ok, a couple things FYI. SCing is a form of LSTing (low stress training) and is done to slow down the growth or bulk up a particular branch/growing tip. Looking at my girls tonight , they needed some more SCing on a few leaders/mains. They have been getting this treatment for a few weeks ...just to keep the canopy nice and even .
I'm sure you have all seen when growers say they had to 'supercrop' a branch cuz it was getting too tall and close to a light source...but they do it WAY TOO far down on the branch...this is NOT supercropping ...what you are seeing is a grower who made a mistake and he/she let that branch / leader get way too tall , now they wanna SC it....problem..when you do it too far down on a branch , it might not straighten back up and it will stay at a 90 degree angle or worse and simply not recover at all. if ya see this it's a mistake OK. The proper way to do it is just right close to the tip, where the the growth is fresh and 'green'/flexible. Just squeeze the stem between your thumb and forefinger until you feel the internal membrane break,...that's it , don't hurt it any more OK, gently bend it down to about a 90 degree angle and leave it alone. This action just slows that branch down a little, just for a day or two,...just a lil time to let some other , slower /smaller branches catch up. During this process all the surrounding growth , just below that 'squeeze' gets a lot of growth hormones sent to it , causing a strengthening action. That area gets thicker and stronger in the process. A few pics of the process. Hope this sheds a little light on the subject! Cheers. Any questions ....lemmy have em!:circle-of-love:

When doing this , try not to break or cut the outer skin,...just break that internal membrane OK!

Look at that...:thumb: ...You have a groovin weekend with your people, awesome Pat....:high-five:
Check out some of this Double Berry...:passitleft:
I'm gettin feedback on it now...common word is "smooth"...
Shot brother. Got the parents out to visit the new place. Looking forward to Tuesday when I can hopefully get the tent back up and running :passitleft: I also got some people saying my smoke is much smoother than what usually is around here, I love it easy on the throat

Speaking of sticky, I don't see how Duggs pries those drench containers off that plastic bin lid.

Now Duggan....are we going to have to have a conversation about grow room cleanliness?

Way too funny..... but it's true.....

Duggs, top shelf plants....keep up the schooling, I'm really enjoying it! Wonderful looking; so healthy and perfect! Rock on....

Great tutorial on supercropping Duggan. It might take folks new to the technique a time or two to get it down....it did me that's for certain. I broke the outer skin on one but with a little tape, she healed up within a day or two. Another time I pinched too hard and just snapped the frigger right off!

What's crazy is how quickly after SCing they stand straight back up like nothing ever happened. Sometimes within a few hours. I've had to SC the same node more than once a few times which is pretty crazy. To me that shows that SCing doesn't hurt them at all and they just heal up and go back to growing like normal. Make sense if you think about outdoor plants. Say like with grass or small plants, you can step on it and smash it down with your shoe and within a few hours it'll all be standing back up like normal.

I'm most interested in watching to see what becomes of the bottom left problem child.

Thanks Beaves...ya , it takes a bit to get 'on to it', but it's a very valuable tool to help manage the canopy when different phenos are growing together...or just to help a plant reach it's potential , by having a nice level canopy. Just like yours,...which is very close to perfect,...and you will see the huge benefits when you harvest your lil fat girl! This is a fun grow for the two of us since mine are only a couple weeks behind yours , so....!
Have a great day my friend.:Namaste::high-five:

Good mornin duggs, another shitty day I gotta work again. Gotta love it. Thanks for the super cropping tutorial, never tried it before, just been topping and tying, still have uneven canopy lol. Going to try lots of it during next 4 plant grow. Thanks, sure you don't want some room temp old Milwaukee, beavis likes it. Pretty good after about 12 pack lol. Did get me some Stella over the weekend, good beer, I usually get different beer every trip to store to try new things. Have a great day guys

Hey Buck,...great morning to ya bud! Yes, very cool your gonna try SCing ....it's easy and only takes a lil while to get used to it and comfortable with 'hurting' those runaway leaders. Topping and tieing down works awesome too and i use all three methods on ALL my crops. I couldn't get these yields without a lot of LSTing in various forms.
Room temp Milwaukee....oh ya baby ...now your talkin....wait , i gotta go puke!! LMFAO....ya mon , i used to do what you do too....try different beers every trip to the Beer Store ...once i found Stella i've just stuck with it....no better tasting beer ...IMO..of course!
Cheers and have an awesome Sunday Buck,....and gang!:Namaste::high-five:

Hello gang! My MRI got cancelled..................ya , you guessed it , i'm so pissed off! Power went out and they had to call a tech to come fix it....not fixed yet! Rescheduled for Fri at 5:00....just great ,...fu....n great. I have my two boys this weekend. Not good! Starting off my weekend with them , not home. I'm pissed,...did i say that already!! City only has 2 MRI's., one is in one of the two hospitals, the other is the private one...the one that's broke.
Anyhow , at least i won't have to take more time off work for it , like today!
Have a great day everyone:)

Oh ya , almost forgot,...girls got a drink of water last night, back pot 4 gal's., front pot 6 gal's.
They were already recovered from that SCing i did and did some more last night. Cheers.:circle-of-love:

High Duggan sorry to hear of your medical woes, I hope you get the right answer soon so you can solve the problem.

I came over to offer you an invite to my new journal, small spaces and small pots, its not even in docs soil. (I did look into it but with the amount of soil and pot size i have to use, it wouldnt work) what's not to love eh? Hope you can make it. :passitleft:

It is recommended to use 5 gallons or greater with the kit. We am being rule breakers and flowering right now with a 3 gallon and a 1 gallon. Results so far are good to say the least, just have to water/drench more often. So if you can manage 3s I bet you could get it to work. Just saying.

I've run a few testers (and seed projects) in 3's more than once and they turn out fine. Obviously smaller plants and proportionately smaller yields, but they turned out fine. Part of the problem is soil energy in the smaller pots though and simply adding more or higher concentrations of drenches may not suffice. They will probably also need a 2nd recharge midway through bloom or in the last 2-3 weeks to keep that soil energy high.

Thanks Yeti, yes , he seen the doctor (same one as me) she said he has a one centimeter long cist on one of his sperm? tubes. We are all relieved. There is apparently no drug to treat that with , short of surgery , so he has been told to just leave it be. Thanks again for asking Yeti....:Namaste::high-five:
