I wonder how a really high brix carrot would taste....my youngest only eats them raw....doesn't like em soft ,cooked.Just wondering....have a great day Ziggs. Ditto your thoughts on Dutty! He's a pro, so he's got to do what works.
High Brix carrots taste sweet, like carrot-flavored candy. You should try a high brix yam, or sweet potato.....
Here's a simple Uruguayan recipe:
2 HB potatoes
3 HB carrots
1 HB onion
3 cloves of HB garlic
1 link of Spanish Chorizo, chopped at an angle, casing removed.
Drizzle of olive oil
Smoked Paprika, Salt, pepper
Dice it up, put it in a glazed clay baking dish in the oven till done. I like it when it the top layer is a tad crispy.
This dish with HB produce is kinda sorta almost a dessert.....except the savory flavor of the chorizo and paprika give it another dimension. Without all the extra sugar in the carrot and onion it's just another baked potato thing, but with all the sugar it takes on another meaning altogether.
Serve it alongside a giant cut of grass fed beef.

Doc, if I want to add extra SRP and Carbonized Limestone to soil.. Add 1:1 or ?

Mornin Ziggs....lookin tasty brotha.....FYI...i'm doing a Bubblehash tutorial today on my Desfran thread. There seems to be enough interest ,so i'm gonna break out the bags and show my methods ,tricks .and ideas on how to make 100% full melting hash. Iv'e got some crap to do before i can get to that but sometime today it'l happen. I don't have time to spread the word so posting here and on my thread ...hopefully enough of the gang will be aware of me doing it and check it out. No time to visit all the Gang's journals today so help me out a lil would ya and spread the word so we can all see how it's done ....thanks Ziggs.
