SWICK plants got some EWC, Roots!, Recharge, soil, and Transplant drenched today.
Test plants got their designated drenches..they were soaked from bottom for 10 min. drained, and some run off poured back over top.

Thank you Doc. I really appreciate the confidence you have.
The SWICKd plants seem to be thriving...it will be interesting to see in a day or so.
I added some Roots! to the Recharge, EWC top dressing. i figured the extra mycos, and rock powder booster, might be able to attach to roots and rootlets in the pot and also assist in breaking down the Recharge after the mycos break down the rock dust in the Roots!
just a few hours after giving a heavy Transplant soak to most of the test plants, the terpenes went into overdrive.
Nice Ziggy! You're doing some really cool stuff here! I think the plants look fantastic with the SWICK. It's only a matter of time till I try it.
Ziggy, what determined recharge at this point? (Why now?) If I understand, you top dressed with some EWC (how thick a topping?), topped that with Recharge, sprinkled on Roots! and finished off with more soil. Am I correct? Last question: Is one of your intents here to bring the soil level up closer to the lip in anticipation of additional rooting of the top of the stem?
I really like that practice of putting Roots! on at recharge, but what I like even better is soil that has digested plenty of leaf material, with Roots! added each time. Try packing that on top next time with the re-charge.

I've recently learned that we all might benefit by rethinking the way we use the drenches. As you know, these products are designed for farmers...as in outdoors with tractors and fertigation/sprayers, etc. 5 acre market gardens are about average for users of these products.
I've taken that down to the hobby level, indoors and in the greenhouse, as well as outdoors. But most people are using it indoors.
Well, think about the fact that outdoors, ALL the drenches stay in the root zone....there is no run-off out the bottom of the pot. But in containers there is.....so we fix this problem with saucers.
Outdoors, roots grow lateral, up to ten feet away from the main stem, so they have a lot of minerals at their disposal at all times. However, our plants have strict boundaries and about halfway through bloom, the roots have really filled the containers. Mine are mostly very fine roots hairs, but every square inch of soil is full of roots.
So....I recently learned of some greenhouse growers using Transplant at doses of 1 cup per 5 gallons.....8 oz. per gallon. The plants thrived with applications of this strength. Growth Energy and Cat Drench were not used at this high of concentrations.
I've tried it and it works very, very well. So your instinct to give them a heavy Transplant drench is right on the money!
I'm working on a re-write of the instructions, which I'll get input from everyone on. I'm also mulling over a "super-sized" kit which would be the smallest bulk size of all the components. People growing just 2 or 3 plants will be just fine with the regular kit. But growers who are consistently growing 6 to 20 plants could really benefit from something like this.
Thoughts?
Sounds great Doc. It sounds like both regular and super kits kits might include considerably more Transplant and possible less or no GE and Cat? If it works just as well, or better, it would be awesome just for simplicity. One drench instead of three would make the kit even more idiot-proof and easier to order additional supplies.
Im thinking next watering for the SWICK should be just water with a little Tea. Lots going on in those pots recently Then hit them with CAT sometime end of this week. They will be budding pretty nicely by then.
My HB Arugula has sprouted in one of the window pots.
The one drench version would be all Growth Energy bro. That's what the lab recommended for a basic "newbie" kit....nothing but GE all the way.
Looking for someone to test that out Doc? I'm game if you are.
It's just getting better and better in ZiggyTown!
Question for you: Did your Willie Nelson get 3 bladed leaves at the stops about when pistils were really forming?
Mine is bright green, smelly, healthy....but shooting up like a rocket. Went from 16/8 to 11/13 on a well rooted clone. I need to find a way to keep the 5 and 7 bladed leaves on her.
