And some freshly harvested 1024 x Unknown OG, I don’t see any seeds so I guess the male parts were sterile. It didn’t yeild a lot but if it smokes like it smells it’s going to be awesome.

I think that’s what I did, I went from small 32oz cups to small 1 gal paint buckets. I was thinking of transplanting them again but I don’t know that it would do much at this point, and I thankfully don’t really need them to be perfect this cycle. I think next time I will go from 32oz paint cans (they are shorter and wider than the cups) then to the 1gal buckets, then right before I flip I will go to 3.5 gal pots.

Two of the remaining four I left to veg in the cups got sad, so I transplanted them to some other pots but they still are sad.

I think the pots need to be quite a bit deeper than the cups when I transplant next time. Since I haven’t started anything behind them yet I’m going to put then directly into the 3.5 gal and let them veg a bit then flip quickly. Once room opens up for them.

Lol my system is do what feels right at the time. It’s hard not to rock it. ;)

I was trying to see about flowering more plants in smaller pots, which is why they are in the 1 gallons. Then I got the PAR meter and realized the GrowANT lights really need to be centered over each plant, so pot size doesn’t change anything. With two lights that tent only supports two plants. I got some QB288 lights to play with soon, and I think they will spread out the light much better. Then I will try the small pots in the small tent again. :surf:

Yes, GROWant GR240 with optical lens, light concentrates in middle area and focus on single plants.
But you can have other G5 and G5Pro series, which spread out the light much better.

Awesome, thanks for the discount code. I really like the single GR240 for veg, my plants are growing very fast and stout. Now that I’ve got them centered on a single plant they are doing great in flower too.
 
Man, I let the fricken whiteflies get out of control. I’ve seen a few here and there for months but I think it was too cold for them to be a real problem. Now they are a real problem.

I’ve been going in with the shopvac and sucking up as many as I can then spraying with nuke ‘em twice a day mixed in with vacuuming. I guess the plan is to keep spraying the leaves and eggs until the adults die out. I guess it takes a cople weeks. I haven’t sprayed the bigger flowering plants, as they don’t have many and are so close to harvest. But after theseare gone all will be getting sprayed at least weekly now.

I guess I let it go so long cause I have a ladybug habitat I’m going to be using when I switch to the basement. I just haven’t had the chance to get the basement ready yet. This afternoon if I get enough work done I will tackle some trash in the basement.

Haha wouldn’t that be awesome, good thing I just spent $500 on that Timber QB kit. :laugh:

But seriously I’m very happy with the Mars and the Growant lights. The only reason I got the Timbers is ‘cause I need some for the new tent and Timber is a San Diego company. Plus, variety is the spice of life an all. :thumb:

Awesome, thanks for reading. The great whitefly war of 2018, has kind of sapped my enthusiasm for taking photos. But the tide has turned in the war! Hopefully I’ll be back on track soon.
 
The small pots are making nice small plants. I think if I got the lighting right I can fit four in this 27”x27” tent. I kind of feel like it’s a bit of a waste with paying the electricity with only two plants this small. I harvested one 1024 (and another will come down soon) from tent 4 so there is a bit of room to move stuff around.

The fricken whiteflies are driving me crazy. Every day there are a lot less but if I never see another one it will be too soon. I think they were the cause of the sad plants, cause they are both a lot happier now that I’ve been treating them.
