I grew 4 "The Church by" Next Generation.....and 1 Atomic Northern Lights witch became the mother i"m using now........next I'm going to clone 3 new mothers in the closet.

I'm in the same boat I'm about to run out for a month or so, we know nobody here in Texas that smokes except members of my family and they all depend on me.........
 
Just was wondering How long should I use a plant as a mother in cloning before I veg a new clone into a mother plant and let the old mother flowe.
Taking into account getting best thc level out of old mother and refreshing the strain with a new mother as I was told after awhile clones from fairly old mothers begin to lose there potency (this info was from a friend who claimed that after 18 months or so a mother should be flowered and a new mother brought in) is any of this true or was my friend quoting old wives tales, as I have heard of people keeping mothers for 3+ years?
 
Most strains wont reach there potenance (gene potential) till the mother is 6 to 9 months old, I have personally have grown clones from a plant line over 1 year old and it produces kick ass clones....Mothers do not loss the potency with age as long as you prolong the life by keeping mothers and clones at 18 hours of light a day. I have been growing clones for 25 years now and they always get better with age. I like to grow plants at the start, of at least 3 months of growth befor blooming from seed, I change out seed starts once a year just because I get board with the same stash for a year.:rasta::nicethread:

Hay Weed and Kwsmoke It will be the biggest one in years.....new system I'll never go back to dirt for my clones I am having to raise the light about twice a week..........:rasta:
 
The Mylar is just stapled to the Sheetrock, the room is 14 x 10 the growing area is 8 x 10 the growing room is larger than the growing area to accommodate the drum and a walk around path to drum and maintain the plants.:rollit:
