Dos-Si-Dos & Wedding Cake ala Dope Seeds

DUD REPLACEMENT UPDATE

Happy Monday! As fun as it is to try and get the sad one limbed seedling to pop another arm,
I soaked another one. This time I gave it a time in paper towels and have proof of life showing.
And the rest of the fam is patiently partying while she comes up.
Woot!

Good afternoon,Stone.

For me, the Forum helped the most when I took it at the first sign of a migraine. Once they are in full force they are much harder to address.

Judging from the smell, myrcene is one of the dominant terpenes. Left to cure for 6+ months it smelled like mangoes.
Myrcene is the main terpene found in mangoes, lemongrass and bay. It is one of the main terpenes we look at for reducing inflammation and pain relief.
Beta-caryophyllene is another.

Since your injury is a spinal one like I have, I wonder if you've used icepacks at the base of your skull? I use a flex pack. It helps a lot with the inflammation as well. I'd like to get a big rescue pack so I can wrap it around the back and sides of my head.

I'm on my second Forum grow and this second one looks similar in form to the first pheno I had. Open branching and not a lot of leaves. They can produce some really nice, solid buds of good size.
I grew both of mine au naturel. I'm sure you'll probably do some sort of training. Hope you get a similar or even better pheno and find some relief.

I found it to work as a daily preventative. I went weeks without a body ache or migraine. It was great but at the same time I also worried that I was getting too accustomed to it. That it wouldn't work as well as a rescue strain when I desperately need it.
I'm still working this part out for myself.

@Dope-Seeds has been unable to ship outside the UK lately. If you're over there check them out!

My goal is to bring 4 into the world and give them everything they want. Spoil em like grandkids! When they're happy, I'm happy.

So let's see how they do in The Rev's LOS soil.

It's likely they'll go, solo cup to 1 gallon plastic to 3 gal plastic to 10 gal cloth.

That's a slight change from the way I've been thinking. Last grow I went up to 7 gallon cloth. I had a good grow. Then I went outdoors this summer and saw how different a plant grows in the ground vs a pot. Big difference! So as long as I got it in me I'll go to a 10 gallon pot for its ability to offer the plant more of what they need to be in perfect health:rolleyes:whatever that is. @Nunyabiz you're right. Size matters! I won't be going all the way but I acknowledge your past notes on size!

WEDDING CAKE

So Black Skull who is the originator of these seeds isn't carrying them anymore and I can't find info there. I did find Leafly had some. Here it is.

"Wedding Cake, also known as "Triangle Mints #23," is a potent indica-hybrid made by crossing Triangle Kush with Animal Mints. Wedding Cake provides relaxing and euphoric effects that calm the body and mind. This strain features a rich and tangy flavor profile with undertones of earthy pepper. Medical marijuana patients choose Wedding Cake to help relieve symptoms associated with pain, insomnia and appetite loss. Consumers with a low THC tolerance should enjoy this strain with an extra slice of care due to its high THC content. Wedding Cake has soared in popularity over the years and was named Leafly Strain of the Year in 2019. Fun fact: In Canada, this strain is known as Pink cookies."

I'll take it! I've smoked little of Cookies varieties and it's nice to get into it from this avenue.

Dos-si-dos

Do-Si-Dos
, also known as "Dosi," is an indica-dominant hybrid marijuana strain with qualities similar to its parent, OGKB, a GSC-phenotype With glittering trichomes, bright pistils, and lime green and lavender leaves, this strain is a feast for eyes. Its aroma is pungent, sweet, and earthy with slight floral funkiness. These classic OG aromas blend nicely with medical-grade body effects that lean toward the sedative side with the addition of Face Off OG genetics. Enjoy a stoney, in-your-face buzz off the start that melts down over the body, prettifying the consumer with relaxation that emanates outward.

More Cookies! Sounds Yummy! Get in my Belly Vape Joint!

We're early in the grow today, they sit in water since yesterday. I can see some have cracked. Yesterday I took 6 cups of Foxfarms Light Warrior soil and 2 cups of llama poo compost and a dose of @DYNOMYCO with enough RO water to moisten it nicely as I hand mixed it to a fine consistency to grow microbially overnight. Today I'll put some of my LOS soil in the bottom 1/3 of solo's and fill with this mix.
So far.

That is the fanciest set of germ glasses I have ever seen!!! I feel so jersey redneck with my red solo cups

I needed this little prep talk today as yesterday was a huge migraine day, a lost day, and today is one of recovery wondering what truck hit me. Yes ice is a daily thing just because. I use the ones you mention as well as an ice helmut when things get impossible. It helps!

First one was a dud, second one is cracked and in paper towels now for tomorrow to plant. She's keeping me waiting! Flavor profile sounds like my king of taste! Mabe there's a reason for that huh? Hope so! I'm looking forward to this one in a big way! Going to make another journal for this and her cohorts in a few days. Weeks without huh? Inconceivable your majesty. I'm hoping though! Thanks!

VG,

Maybe try every other or third day as maintenance which would maintain a certain base level in your system?

Or, try THC-A as your maintenance and hit it harder when the outbeaks happen. I don't have migraines but I use most of my stuff that way. I chop up the buds pretty fine and put a measured amount into a 32 oz bottle of olive oil. Then, every day at lunch I make a salad with a couple of tablespoons of the infused olive oil. Same calculated dose everyday and in a little different format than you'd get from smoking it.

I've had great success knocking down my issues, but not sure if it would work for you. Maybe sacrifice a few buds and give it a go? You'll never know unless you try if it could work for you.

Hey Krissi Jersey redneck works here! Those are my little yard sale and Sal's finds over the years for a quarter or a dime. Fun sippers!
