Does this seedling look overwatered?

Am I reading this wrong or are still running cold? 19c is your minimum temp at night. 24 or 25c is closer to where you want your daytime temps.
Yes you are reading that right. I cant seem to get the temp any higher without running a heater 24/7. I have a small 450w heater that gets the temp up but, it won't shut off because the tent won't hold the increased temp with the exhaust fan running. I am going to try a timer on the exhaust fan to day. I'm thinking something like 1hr off then 10min on every hour. We will see how that works.

I was looking at the photographs and noticed your watering attempt. The line of moist soil shows up very well. If the new soil underneath is still dry then the plant's roots will not grow into it. Nor will they grow through dry soil in an attempt to find moist soil on the other side.

My suggestion is to water the entire pot of soil so that all that soil becomes damp. Allow excess water to drain away and do not allow the pot or bag to sit in that water. Up to you how to do it but many of the group that is growing in those "plastic cloth" bags will let then sit on a grate over the saucer. The water can drip through and collect underneath the pot. Before long the soil becomes evenly moist.

Over the next week or more the plant will absorb what it needs plus evaporation will remove some from the soil. It could be a week, maybe two before more water is needed.

I mentioned reading the thread discussing how to properly water a pot of soil. Don't know if you looked for it yet but this is the link to the thread which was started about 8 years ago. I suggest you read all the way through and whenever you have any questions write them down. Probably a 99% chance that whatever you wanted to ask was already answered in one or more of the messages in the thread.

Good morning sw !! I did read the Emily green watering thing. It was very informative. I guess I'm just deathly afraid of overwatering. I will take you advise and buy some grates today and water the whole pots. Thanks bud !!

The fans are expelling heat, moisture and O2 while drawing in CO2. At the lower temp the plants are not converting much CO2 or giving off moisture. The exhaust fan is preventing the condition it is there to remedy. Raising the temp will lower the RH and opening the door once a day will replenish CO2. The plant will start drinking more to dry the soil.

I think I might have found the sweet spot. I shut off the 4" intake fan that brings in the cold fresh air in from outside. Hopfully the tent will draw air in from the openings in the bottom of the tent. The tent is in our basement. I put the exhaust fan on a timer. 1hr off / 5min on every hour. I will probably change it to 2.5hrs off / 5min on, because I ran out of programs. I cracked the tent open just a bit. See picture, temps are up and rh looks good....I think. I open the door every morning and evening to check things out. So there should be some good air exchange during those times also.

Overwatering becomes a problem when it is happening too often. If the grow medium gets too wet and stays wet for to long it can cause problems if the roots are not able to get the oxygen they need. Also, saturated soils can cause the fertilizers to go from an aerobic (with oxygen) to an anaerobic (without oxygen) breakdown which can lead to roots rotting and similar problems.

Think about the growers who have done a "flushing". They put so much water through the soil whether it is dirt based or coco or peat based that the medium becomes saturated. Excess water might be dripping out for hours but there is no effect on the plant. If anything some report that the plant looks healthier over the next week or so.

Sometimes I think that the reason the plants look better after a "flushing" is because the soil or grow medium had been getting too dry and the burst of fresh water helped them recover from the lack of water.
