Does fluctuations in temperature during drying effect bud quality?

Gorilla is a member of the ape family of animals.

The right word is guerrilla which relates to an underground type of military action. Something that is being done by people, often small groups, trying to stay hidden until whatever they set out to do is finished. Or staying hidden even after they accomplish what they wanted. So in this case a guerrilla grow is one that is staying hidden from being found by the unfriendly side. Similar to a stealth grow but a lot more intense.

Then there is the ghillie suit. That is a camouflage clothing often made with netting that will have strips of cloth woven in along with whatever is in the area that the wearer wants to stay hidden. They will weave in stalks of field grass, small twigs with leaves and even the flower stalks of the native plants. A whole lot different than the typical camouflage patterns worn by military personal or hunters. Snipers and their helpers have turned ghillie suits into an art and science.

Sounds to me like you got an attitude, for me giving my opinion, are you having a bad day or are you just an ass
You're right I was short, but that is because I felt like you were being a little short as well, listing off your method as if it is written in stone or something, and you didn't really answer his questions or help, so I got grouchy. That was my perception, and right or wrong, I could have worded my response better at the very least. I do apologize.

I dried in the woods with whatever I could piece together for 30 years before I could finally move indoors. In all those years I certainly lost some terpenes and cannabinoids to heat and light but only one case of mold.

Heat and light isn't a problem for me, temp is average 20°C daytime and 13°C nighttime for the next 5 days while the buds are in paper grocery bags inside black plastic bags so in total darkness.

Mold only grows if the moisture can not get out. Mold is the only thing that makes buds unsmokable.

I've got quite a bit of crystalized silica sand in the bottom of the paper grocery bags to absorb any moisture from the air and the buds sit on newspaper which is put on top of the silica sand, so in theory the silica sand should pull moisture from the air inside the paper bag and plastic bag and also pull moisture from the buds through the paper that the buds are sitting on. Now that's in theory, I find out what the real reality is when I check the bags tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

This is because he has been forced into a guerilla grow for the last several years.

As you have pointed out each year that he attempts a grow he has several threads where he is trying to figure out ways of keeping his grow from being discovered by law enforcement, being found and ripped off by other growers, fighting the weather or animals, getting his seeds or seedlings to the location, his attempts at keeping his plants alive, and then the harvesting and getting it home.

At the start and finish of each grow @Phillybonker has several threads about that years efforts. I look at the the threads as if they are journals but without the all the photos;).

Yep guerilla growing certainly presents it's challenges especially when I have to do the germinating in the bush and drying in the rain.

I always wondered why they called it guerrilla growing, that makes sense.

Do you have bears or wolves where you are?
Definitely. My property connects to state park, it's pretty wild out here. Went for a walk the other day in the woods. You always watch out for bobcat. Ive caught bear on cam! Hawks and eagles circle you like your a meal waiting to happen.

If that wasn't wild enough you go the spiders.

Oh man I wouldn't be guerrilla growing at all if there was things like that in the bush.

Sueet, figure of speech, sorry for wrong pronoun. 😆

Auto correct, fuck you, for gorilla.

OGPapa, Ozarks mountains too, right? Forgot the rattlers, and cotton mouths. Strangest thing here is wild peacocks. First time I saw them in the yard I took a picture. Went back inside, showed my wife asking if I needed to quit smoking? She could see them too. Although she smokes more than me...:passitleft:

Yup that's right. Haven't seen a peacock yet! That would be trippy. I have seen lots of cocks tho

Well @Sueet apparently we got off on the wrong foot :hmmmm: Hi, I'm MochaBud :ciao: and I did not read all of his threads, but should have, I've been away for awhile, for health reasons and such, so it may take a minute for me to get back into the swing of things :passitleft:

I'd definitely be opening those black plastic bags for an hour or so. Also replace the kitty litter as soon as possible and as often as possible. It will absorb the moisture but it will release the moisture if it's trapped inside the black plastic.
How did the dry in the rain go.

Thank you Mocha! Little gestures like that make @420 such a great community!

Everyone has a day, and a story!

Yikes - that's spooked my day lol
UK climate is a bit rubbish and our political system is fucked, but I'll take that over bears, crocs, spiders and snakes
