Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Well, I'd say that you're doing a perfect job with the kit and that strain seems to like it. What an amazing picture. Have you tried any of it?

Not the high brix bubba but I'm very familiar with it grown organically with teas and I can assure you this is going to blow my previous runs out of the water

we interrupt your regularly scheduled program for an update on messing up the kit

So I've identified my problems as not being a root grower my first 2 runs, I just had to get those girls in and flipped right. Nevertheless the first run finished to rave reviews and this 2nd run looks replete with all of the problems of my first run (ugly leaves, stupid awesome buds).

Run 2 day 47 of 11/13, full 15 gal pots.

This Pure Power Plant (African Landrace x American Kush) is gonna be amazing when I actually dial in the kit. Look at it go!

Feel free to drop any suggestions, today the Tangie got 2nd Cat, the BD got its first, and I've been holding off on the PPP as it looks like it is gonna run a couple weeks longer.

I'm really proud of all the new guys who come in and grow perfect plants right out of the box that look like Docs, I'm sorry for the ugly canopy. Nevertheless I preach the brix and the washing, and my circle of snobs is finding previously unknown levels of snobbery.

Cheers my dudes. (My current veg is brixey as fuck, I'm really excited!!)

I've been through the ugly-leaf/stupid-awesome buds phase myself, with equally fine produce. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's all about the trichs after all, and whew, your current trich farm looks pretty damned fine! :thumb:

I don't know the Bubba strain too well, which is a shame. It's a classic. I gotta get me some someday.

But that pic....that bud is going to be special. How many more weeks are you going to take her?

I'd love to see what you can do with the bubba the bottom buds on the plant are frostier than the tops but I think I may get crazy and take it 10 weeks

Incredible, BK!!! :bravo:

Hola Doc

Got a handful of autos going in your kit, little hesitant at first and starting seeds with nothing growing can be, challenging. But, a month in and I think I can at least say the autostrain I've run the most, and have had the best results,, is doing very well. .I'll get a picture soon. Little burn on the tips I think due to tea, or transplant, but my limited experience tells me the tea is super potent and the next round I'll lay of longer. At least that strain, the other ones didn't skip a beat.

Other than that,, l lstd the plant so while the top may have slowed,, the rest took off. Still in veg and I've got at least ten good colas. Typically I train for eight on these autos but I wanted to leave it alone other than a little tug down. Very happy. Thanks again!

Have a bunch of photos just moved from solos to 1.7s. new strains but those are teeny as you can expect.

MMM, what size are your autos in?

Hi all, my phone has just informed me it's Thanksgiving day over there, so happy Thanksgiving day to all you guys and girls, have a great day.

I started them in sevens,, which is interesting on Doc's kit when it's designed or the basic script is to start in one gallons.... But,, what I know is the basic kit will get me far,, so, I've just pushed a little,, only after a few weeks,, my question is whether I'll use recharge or not,, I doubt it but,, I may

i do as the instructions suggest, just a little earlier with all my plants(i grew 11/13; now 10/14- all seeds are started in bloom, no separate growth, basically all seeds become Auto'd :)), and especially the autos. i top dress with a little Recharge, EWC, a nice pinch of Roots!, some second or 3rd run soil on top. Spray plant with DeStress. :)

Sounds good. But, running photos on altered light isn't the same as an auto. The instructions are for starting in one gallons or something smaller so dose levels can't be the same with a young seedling. You're messing with that strain to make it behave closer to an auto, but it's still a photo in all other ways.

Do you start your photos you do like that in sevens Mr. Zig?

Autos are not that special but they need attention based I how they grow. I just have to figure how to do it with DOC kit, that's interesting.

So, I hear what you are saying, kinda,, but,, well autos aren't photos.... Even if you trick a photo it's still going to wait to flower till you tell or allow it.

One auto I have going now is four weeks into veg and I'm not in a rush to see it flower. It's on 18/6 like the room and any day now it's going to explode. You get no warning.

Thanks Zig, I do appreciate the feedback and is why I posted. Just think I'm on my own here....

Here's a few more autos

MMM, I am growing autos too. :) Auto Jock Horror x Auto Pineapple Express(in bloom); Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia XXL (seedlings)

both are in Docs kit. They happen to be seeds I made using Autos and Colloidal Silver..

Im finishing up an Auto Blue Kush(I need to check seed co- dinafem? ). These are not in 5 or 7 gallon pots; smaller.

I think autos grow fantastic in Doc's kit, large or small pots.... :)

Very good, now we're talking apples to apples. I have an auto amnesia from royal queen I'm running in a three gallon. It's to the right of the old one in group shot. Ran out of soil ;)

Thanks, Zig!
