Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Guys... it’s getting worst and worst...

This is the WW

This is the OG
This is the laniakea

And the BCP leafs are a bit weard as well... what to do?!

As we discussed in your PM.....heat damage is the least of your worries. Leaving the lights on for 48 hours straight is a much bigger problem, and is also why you had the heat damage.

For the sake of others learning, please post the entire story.

I found out about this this morning and the leafs started before that...
The entire story is not 100% clear to me but I will explain... 48h the fuse that the lights where on burned i fixed the problem(temporarily) and I’m 99.99% sure I have put everything back on track with the timer and everrything but since the fuse burned I did not turn on the AC(as it was before) I started having heat problems due to temp outside and heating ect... yesterday I replaced the fuse (that I had temporarily replaced 24h ago)
But that I am 100% sure I did not reset the timer and everything... the light are supposed to go off at 5:30am and I woke up at 8:00am and i thought something was strange... to much noise in the tent... I looked inside and the light where on... turned off everything at once and now I’m writing this! :(

Ok, safe to assume he is using a digital timer or by resetting you mean plugging in? My timers are mechanical so would always follow timing they're set at as long as they're plugged in. Might not be the correct on off time if something tripped but would never be on 24/7. Thanks brother! Hoping Leftys beautiful plants stay that way! :yummy:

Ah...the full story comes out! :)

Disregard my last post Lefty, now I see what happened. Yep Duggan called it...Rookie mistake, hell I still do dumb stuff like that from time to time.

A few years ago I had issues in my hydro setup I was running before I found Doc and the gang here. They were plants I had for years and were acting all ff’ed up, like a photo issues. Well it was, I accidentally hit one of the 15min clickers on the mechanical timer, so the lights would come on for 15 minutes during the night cycle. I did it while I was cleaning, and was so pissed, 8 plants down the tubes.

So that’s what being a neat freak will get ya! :surf:

Since then I now always look at my timers every time I’m in the grow room.

Yup...me too DL. Always...always .. always check present time on timers and if they are mechanical....make sure ALL pins are in their proper place.
Lefty wont know how much damage is done for weeks now.....they will prolly stall for a week to 10 days then may start to veg again....then get back to blooming...but all that is gonna take way too long for his soil to last .I suspect it will run out of gas now ...way too soon as this nay cost him a number of weeks....but only time will tell now .ffs.

Hey Brixers! I was thinking about doing one (or more?) of those late-bloom CAT's on a couple of my girls, this round. So I went back to check details on the site and read (or misread!) this:

**Some users report that using Cat Drench late in bloom may increase certain flavors and smells, but often results in a more "pungent" aroma in produce.**

OK, so I was assuming that late bloom CAT drench is in addition to the ones done in the third week, or so; or does this refer to the same two CATs simply done later in the bloom cycle?

Assuming it's additional CAT's, when would you suggest applying those? A couple/few weeks before harvest? Sooner?

Also, two in a row, again, or just one?

Thanks for any input! :thanks:

I've often given Cat drenches close to harvest, but I always leave a week or more to get a final Growth drench in before harvest. Others have run Cat instead of Growth all through the bloom cycle.

For plants that run 10+ weeks in bloom, I'll give the first two Cats at 5-6 weeks, switch back to Growth, and then do another one or two leading into the chop, at say, 9 to 10 weeks (or later for really long sativas). Rinse with a straight water, then back to a Growth, and they're ready to chop. :slide:

My nose tends to wrinkle at heavy skunky weed, so I've never taken one all the way with Cat.

Hey Doc and gang sorry been busy with the journal but wanted to share this! They’ve come a looooong way since the solo cup mistake! I have a lot better pics in the journal. This only day 16 of flower getting ready for cats next week.
