Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

...gonna chime in here with props for Doc...ordered a kit today and a couple extra's for use next spring...couple emails, and within an hour after payment...parcel shipped complete with tracking #...:thumb::high-five:...gotta admit a lil sticker shock on shipping costs, but not much more than I expected...it is a long way and international shipping, so it's all good!...I have an alternate shipping option that I will probably pursue next order...just wanna say, for any other Canuckleheads considering the kit...easy peasy...cheerz...h00k...:rollit::passitleft:...

Thanks doc,

Since you had to pay that shipping charge, let's make sure you get awesome product support. If I'm not hanging around your journal, give me a heads-up.

Also, please follow that tracking number closely so it doesn't get stalled in customs.

...Thanks Doc...won't be running the kit till next spring...just wanted to get the product here before temps start to dip below freezing, and have it on hand to start cooking soil when I get back from Mexico...I have a number of Brixer friends here on the mag, and will drop you a note when that journal begins...:thumb::high-five:...cheerz...h00k...:rollit::passitleft:

Wha? I’m here - have had deliveries of other things :hmmmm:... I will check.
:Namaste:

Edit: is there anyway of finding out who the carrier is here? All I can see is the usps info saying delivery attempted in Aus. Infuriating because I’m here! I’m phucking housebound! I’m always here ffs. This happens sometimes because the delivery driver can’t be bothered coming the 300yards up our bushy driveway

It’s Saturday now, I’ll chase it up on Monday. Thanks Doc- I missed getting any notifications about it so appreciate the ‘heads up’ :thumb:

Just replying to myself... i think I’ve worked out that it’s because the package is at the post office. I gave my PO Box address for it (because of the house delivery ‘issues’) and we haven’t checked that since early in the week. Should be all good. They know me well at the post office because i do literally all my shopping online and my carer/helper usually picks everything up for me. I’ll message her this morning and see if she’s in town today and can pick it up :thumb:

Great. I especially pay close attention to international orders in order to help folks get them before trouble occurs.

Bring some of those lovely recipes to the customs people when you go to pick it up.....

Hey all, late to the posting party, but have been following this thread from the beginning. Started off using peat moss as my starting point, and bought all the amendments singly at first, which wasnt cheap. Great results my last couple times with brix readings up to 14 in flower so far. Got a kit cooked now, and have some cookies and chem and cookies kush started. Attached a pic of the current cindy99's im running . Now that i have a kit going would be stoked to break into the 15 range.
Everything has changed in my growing style since i started reading this journal. I recommend it to others all the time. Calcium and learning to control electrical balance in the soil has made the bigest difference in all my gardens. Evn my basil shines and reaches for the sky, which it never did before. Thanks, Doc. I'd recommend you to any grower, and hope biological gardenimg becomes more prominent over the pseudo organic nuts out there who make rules about what is and isnt organically allowed.

o glad to say goodbye to large percentages of compost, and the mediocre results it gave. Anyhow, howdy. I'll be `round.
