We have that too but here in Africa people don't know what social distancing is.. They taped section for us to stand 2 meters away . Not 5 min later will 3 people stand shoulder to shoulder in this two lines... I do believe this lockdown is necessaryHere there is a mandatory 6 foot social distancing in effect, somehow suspect all those condoms are going to be useless
Stores here have put tape down in the checkout lanes that are 6 feet apart

Looks terra cotta to me so I don't think I'd paint it. Clay will evaporate the water evenly, but if you paint it it may retain too much moisture. If there aren't holes and you do drill them (recommended!), use a ceramic bit (get a few of different sizes because starting with too big a bit will split the pot).

Dude! That's advice that was much needed! Common sense but I didn't think of that thank you. I will take a close up. Should a normal filler like what we use for walls work?
Unless you think that dirt and water are going to pour out of the cracks I would leave it alone. If you do want to fill it, wall spackle won't work because it can't get wet. You'd need some sort of concrete patch.

Shit that's something to think about hey... OK well maybe I can find one. But now it is not necessary as it's for next summer.
Yeah best thing to do right now is lock down. We are about 800km away From home so heading back today. Stop over in wilderness tonight , catch some grunter to stock the fridge and tomorrow is home. Stay safe
