Update!
Wassup people!
BBeen a rough day today. Fell ill and was down and out till about 4ish. Still a bit naar(nauseas) but I can smoke a joint now and I believe I will sleep well. Tomorrow is my last day on leave so I'm magically going to start finding things to do which I could of so long ago... Is how it goes...
I have noticed my ph picks up relatively fast.
It's now back to 6.2 from 5.8 in a matter of a day... I did ph down with 28ml vinegar... Down to 5.7. I now have realized I should add 10 - 15ml at a time rather as I dropped fast.
I saw on the graph someone shared somewhere on the ph being at 5.8 is the place to be. As 5.9 does not allow calcium to be taken up... I'm now even more intrigued... For the coco grows I don't ph really. The water is 6.1 after I add nutes and stir so they are fine I guess... I did read up on how chlorine stops/prevents the proper intake of nutrients (same thread I think) and that's something interesting. I should maybe give it a try and my plants will grow faster haha..
OK so on to the plants...
KVS auto in the botanium isn't stacking big but has now started to get a nasty lean. I'll support her with a string soon. Just need to find it hahaha. She smells divine but I have noticed brown pistils on the bud sites... I'm unsure if that's a problem now.
The KVS in the coco is growing well! OK well just the one. The other flowered way to soon and I'm afraid nothing more will grow out... I'm now wondering if it would be worth it to continue to grow her as she takes up space I can grow something bigger??? Thoughts...
KVS on the right number two has grown beautifully and will be filling most of the pot which is pretty awesome. She has gone through a tremendous amount of stretch and hopefully she will continue to grow bud sites...
The DWC beauties are now moving faster. It would seem fixing the oh gives me notable differences every day. Now I'm confident I'm leaning the right way. Roots are looking dab with them just starting to reach out far. Almost ready for their topping. As per @Pennywise instructions I will top at 5th node. I'm heavily inclined to agree that's the perfect height and size to do so. So thanks for lending some advice!
I recently spoke to a new grower saying that hydroponics is way out of his league and to be honest I must say it isn't.... So far... By that I mean I haven't seen major problems yet and the hydro method for coco worked wonders for me. It's just the pens that cost a lot of money once off. More than I'm comfortable but now I use it daily.
Don't be afraid to try it! If you haven't.

For those that are interested in the upcoming legislation -
Basically 600g per person or 1200g per household of 2 or more people. 100g is usually a litre so that's about 12 litres. Each plant you grow gives you roughly 400g - 550g per m2 in perfect conditions. Otherwise about 200g at most.
I can only speculate how many plants but it looks like growing 5+ plants won't be too bad... I hope the law changes in a decent way for us in South Africa and we may now grow in peace.
Small update... I topped the two in DWC on the 5th node. Now we should see some growth. Again the ph shot up too 6.1 so it looks like I will fix the water daily now or get lemon juice if that holds longer. I by accident hurt a root as it was attatched to the side air stone. Need to work around that.

After some reading up it would seem that the ph naturally swings up in a DWC. It would seem that the plants absorbing the acidic compounds, the ph goes up. I also read up that vinegar degrades the water quality. I'll need to look into that. So my res has a thin layer of brown on the inside. Not to hectic but I'm going to replace the water and reset everything to be 100%.
I see some people say that the roots getting some air time is actually good. However I feel I will not be doing so and rather just replace the resevouir with a back up I will go buy quick making it easier to exchange the whole setup.
I will be adding the airpipes from above now too cause I ripped a big root... I felt so stupid when I did so....

It really is and it's growing daily. It's fine to see the changes. Now the tricky training comes cause I do not know to to train them in the DWC

KVS looking not to bad after the mild training. I will do some more bondage in a bit to fully tie her down and let this last bits do what the must. So I finally mixed up the batch of flower nutes and she has had her first drink... The flowers look and smeel good on the botanium already so this one should turn out good. I'm rather tingly and excited again.
Boy does this girl smell! Still ever so pungent. Heavy skunk like. Crystals are coming along nicely and she has a slight bit of nute burn. So it's 1 of 2 things. Either the nutes of the new bottles I mixed is too strong or the massive salt build up it had from my powder nutes gave it a spike. I am leaning towards the build up first... She was flushed and is now producing more pistils so booya let's do this!
DWC babies are looking fine. Although I feel they could grow faster and I might be missing something. Does anyone have tips or anything they could suggest? I have bought a new tote and made the air pipe go in from the top.
