DIY SIPs Duterte's Nightmare - Mystery S. Asia Sativa - Zkittlz, Runtz, OG UV, God's Gift, GG#4, 1st Grow In 20yrs

We are on the same schedule as you are. The coffee pot starts at 4:00am, if we don't push start earlier.
Winter is wonderful here until February when we get a few frosty nights (gotta cover the veggies and flowers). Everything is harvested by June. Nothing pollinates above 105 deg F.

You should be getting close to harvest. Another two to four weeks?
Day 24 give or take.
I turned the lights off at night weeks before I started counting.
But if I'm wrapped up by Halloween I'll be happy. :thumb:
I get 105 in the greenhouse, it kills me.
Like working in a sauna.
Couldn't imagine it all day outside yeiks. Ac dealers must be busy.
Take care.

Consistency is key RD and I can infer that you have lots of that. Great move on holding down the anxiety of wanting something to change immediately vs patience to let the solution come to you and acting accordingly.
:namaste:

Hey we are all allowed to drop the ball every now and then, understanding nature isn’t as easy as we think. You got this brother, proof of it? Well shits green, lush and thriving like really thriving.

Hope you are having a good weekend, I went to Wick for a surf and sunset gaze. It feels so good to see the sunset, the fog and the sand dunes. Trust me in the back of my cannabis obsessed mind I see a hourglass with a sticker saying; “your plants are running out time, we in the west coast 49th parallel”.

Thanks D, really good to hear from you. Nice job on taking in a sunset on the briny blue. My favourite place in the world, at sea. Mountains close second. Was just reminded of when I had to stop whale watching due to health I just that year finally scored my ultimate winter dream job, Antarctica tour guide, and had to tell them I couldn't. I choked up on the damn phone telling them. I really want to get down there somehow though. You never know...

It was a good gig. Typically you give a couple presentations on the way down, then the job was getting everybody safely around on zodiacs zig zagging around the 'bergs, and some landings here and there, fit everyone with their crampons and make sure no one dies or gets hurt.

Making sure no one dies or gets hurt.

That’s probably the easiest and the hardest thing about tour guide gigs, you never know when a tourist “selfie” efforts might land them a 50 feet drop or blindly fall off the zodiac, mauled by a bear because you got to close…

Nevertheless Antarctic tour guide sounds freaking awesome.

Yeah, its actually just the hardest. But I really enjoyed, even excelled. There's a million things you could do to help yourself meet objectives out there, but all have safety considerations of pretty high order and usually about 90% are tempting but should not be ventured. Makes judgement the top quality you need to develop, IMO. 3-4 hours, whales are everywhere and nowhere, 100 miles of range, but passengers who all didn't realize what they'd got themselves into, but you're God for all that time and people will listen to you. I indoctrinated the F^%@ outta my passengers whale-watching. I also had a big nikon d300 and later a D5 and a 400mm lens all safe in pelican box so I have a lot of great whale pix, etc. I put up a website and organized them on there gratis for my passengers as a personal extra and used it to work the tipping angle. Killed it with that hustle.

ReservoirDog be shoppin’ ’ peeps, two weekends in a row!! Heady stuff my friends, heady stuff. Lovely home despot worker didn’t charge me for the cuts, saved 10-15$ there (they charge 2$ per after 2 free, I believe. Thank you 🙏 lovely young person. Damn, I’m making myself sound old. Well, I’m closer to 50 than 40 now so might as well try it on, get comfortable. It def. beats the alternative. Plus my headspace is “older guy” from my f’d up disability.

Dunno if I told you Bill, or, “world” for that matter, but I had a ‘do not spare my feelings doc” convo w/ specialist and he said there’s nothing to be done. The really, really severe migraines have caused severe trauma deep in my ear-hole. So, unless I can rewrite my brain to use different inputs for balance, which I’ve already beeen working with physio every day for years, falling over, constant nausea are now features, not bugs. Apparently I have profound deafness to look forward to also.

Onward friends, ever onward, even if it isn’t upward we may still find unique satisfaction in ‘onward’ alone - just not ‘alone, alone’… dig?

Nah srry. I'll start rando-posting some with other on-topic pics.. we'll see what happens.

Oh hey, actually, A template/placeholder is actually up. It doesn't have a lotta pics but it has some. They're mostly my early ones. I had fun designing that site, it went up in 2006, and what'll you'll see is a skeleton placeholder but will give you some idea. Site design is a little 2006 but I love the banner and logo I made.

Don't give up or give in.
Before my accident I was a week away from death.
Docs couldn't figure out what was wrong.
Couldn't eat was pooping blood.
They sent me home to die I think.
But my other half at the time dragged my ass out of bed took me into the waiting room at the doctor's office and had a meltdown.
Freeked out, well I got some help after that.
They referred me to a specialist who figured it out with one procedure.
I was 6' 1" 240 lb when I got sick.
I was a 120 pound skeleton by the time I got treatment.
One more week and I'd be done xxx.
Don't give up is my point.
Have you ever taken mushrooms, I know it sounds weird but, maby.
Mushrooms help the brain create new pathways for neurons and basic pathways the brain uses.
It's remarkable stuff.
Just a thought when you mentioned brain inputs.
Check micro dosing on your Google machine you old fart.
Nice haul btw, glad you got so much great stuff.
I'm still typing the othe reply hehe.
Talk soon.

When I started growing in SIPs and appreciating that hydrotropism was the primary method of action causing the increased biomass over traditional containers, I thought, hmm, how to help this process and keep from confusing the plants by watering from the top for a few weeks in a normal container? I want to make sure that every part of its life has it exposed to a stable moisture gradient. So, I came up with a method appropriate for seedlings from germ. to approx 4/5 node plants, although I try to plant my seedlings into final SIP anytime after 2 nodes. But, with these there’s less of a hurry because hydrotropic morphology begins immediately after germination in these little cuties.

There's no ferts in these waters so they stay fresh. Instead when I mix the matrix I use a couple grains of slow release organic tomato ferts in there, and some worm castings mixed in evenly. Then, when I fill the bag, every 3/4 of an inch I drop in a layer of frass, spray it with lactose bacillus & Liquidirt, a scoshe of Bio Clean (a very, very powerful source of special; bennies used in wastewater treatment - very experimental, best left to risk taking fools like me) add some of my freshly cultured mycorrhizal hyphae with yet another bennies source, some crushed eggshells, then 3/4 inch more matrix and repeat.

Layers baby layers. :welldone:
Slip a layer of perlite in between.
The added accessible oxygen increases growth, I find.
I do it from solo to final pot.
A good thick layer of perlite every couple inches in the pot also helps prevent overwatering.
I feed my soil girls full strength nutrients every day to run-off.
Go figure how many growers would benefit from a pot you could not overwater.
I'm rambling I realized sorry, honey oil.
I wish you were here to have some.
It's like high-school stuff.
Thick gold and killer, see rambling again.
Rexer brought me over a fiver Saturday, haven't felt like this in a long time.
Talk soon I'm sure.

Yes yes fricken yes.... I used to micro dose lsd for this same reason of a mental reset....and it works for about two months and then could use another "treatment". But talk about peace and calm after 😊

Check micro dosing

I second that, and I can help you with that. @ReservoirDog

If you want look up lions mane in combination with turkey tail. That not psychedelic but entirely medicinal and 100% legal.
Regenerate synopsis and neuropath ways, and celular memory… and the list goes on and on.

I take them all without even having a diagnosis of anything, preventive maintenance I call it.

I grew them for years.
In the office under a desk.
A gram or so every few days we took. If I remember correctly.
Didn't feel any psychedelic at all period.
But we were happy as clams.
Micro dosing :cheer:
I'm on cbd, rso and reign drops now.
Not mental health stuff but still good.

St Johns worth is what I take when I need to jump out a depressed state of mind or if I need a positive mood swing in my day. St. John’s worth tincture is what I do, easy to harvest it’s everywhere in Bc, pick fresh flowers and everclear, let it sit for 3 months and use by the drops. This is incredible medicine. If not possible to make your own, you can get it online.

I’m happy every day thanks to this.

@Bill284 Thanks for your concern and motivation. I'm def. not enjoying life most of the time with this issue but I'm so tired of doctors. Truly there is no surgical procedure to fix this part of the inner ear, it's just too delicate. The mushrooms as a tool for encouraging brain plasticity has crossed my mind, and to be honest I have been setting up a mycology lab and working towards growing them on the regular, both psychoactive and other medicinal types. Once you know how, well, the world's your oyster.. mushroom. lol. Anyway, you can grow all types once you get the sterile procedures well-pracrtised, and I'm making good progress. Nothing like this pick @danishoes21 just dropped though! Man!

Wow, D, are you growing them too? I am also! I just started, same time as I came back to weed, last winter. Those are some pretty impressive grain bags you have prepped there in the background, if that's you. Have you checked out the mushrooms and cacti thread here on 420? Thanks for the SJW tip. I will for sure follow up. Gotta talk more spores though my friend if you're growing because I'm on the path also. Nice looking PE hybrids in the pic BTW, very. Have you ever taken freeze-dried shrooms? Oh man... do not go heroic with freeze-dried. They are hugely potent, like triple. I'm hoping to receive some very special spores from down under soon, but the first sample never arrived. Might need to dev new source. I use a still air box, and have a laminar-flow hood project in the works but it's stalled out temporarily. I'm doing the automated Martha tent for fruiting, though recently disassembled for upgrading. Fun hobby too, I hope to procure a medical-based license for personal supply. Anyway, WOW!

You whacked outta your tree is some of the best news I've had all year. Ramble away my friend, it is music to my ears.

Dog, thanks for sharing your experiences and expertise.
I hope you get your health problems all sorted out 100%!
I use sill-o-cybe mycelium fruiting bodies to help repair a closed head injury, and it helps with some things (as do THC and CBD).
The "Stamets Stack" recommends with Biotin (good multi-vitamin) and also a couple of Lion's Mane.
And where is the cactus and shroom thread?
