This is the current grow plan for NL1 and NL2.

Water: 5.8ph

Seedlings (until 4 sets of leaves):
Temp[23-26c]
Rh[40%]

Vegetative state:
Temp[26-30c]
Rh[50%]

Flower:
Temp[23-26c] with cooler night temperatures.
Rh[65%] reducing by 5% every 2 weeks

Ripe: on the lookout for cloudy tri-cones
Temp[23-26c]
Rh[40%]

That’s a neat looking home made box you have, I like the diy stuff.... I’m curious to the replies you get about the C02

Being my first grow, mistakes are bound to happen. That doesn’t make them any easier to deal with.

Little to long between watering and my lack of understanding what a distressed seedling looks like and we almost lost NL1.... good news is that little miss is on the comeback.

The first hint would have been the slight curl of the leaves.

Second....how dry the dirt is.

Third possible cause of stress is the lights being about 6-8” above the seeding...

Any thoughts? She’s doing well now and we are keeping a close eye on her. NL1 is definitely smaller and than NL2 after this set back..

Take a look...

They look stressed but they look like they will make it just make sure to let the soil dry out pretty good and I’m not sure how high your light is but prob needs to be about 28 inches. They don’t need much light at this stage.

Okay, cool. Thanks DonChiefums20. Lights are up as high as I can get them and we aren’t watering today to try and stretch it out as far as we can.

These first two pictures are Day 10 and NL1’s has damage to the first node and NL2 is looking good.

These pics are Day 18 after feeding on Day 15. NL1 is behind NL2 in height but the nodes seem to be closer. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, just another observation.

These are the nutrients we mixed into about four liters of water as well as 4ml of Cal-Mag

This is NL2 at day 25. We’ve start training her to lean towards the wall with red tape. You can just see a little bit of the stainless steel wire in the second picture. The slight dropping of the leaves lead me to feed tonight. Same recipe for dinner as before. Does NL2 look distressed enough for a feeding? Its been five days since last meal? Makes me nervous going so long. Thoughts?

Things are looking pretty good. As a long time Pro Mix grower I'd suggest the pH a little higher, 6.2 to 6.5. I also grew with the same lights as you for several years before upgrading this last summer. Recommended height is 18 inches for veg and 12 inches for bloom. At this age, if you water until you get some run off out the bottom (probably about 1 gallon or 4 liters, for your 3 gallon pots), they'll probably go 5 days or so before the pot is light and needing fed again.

Thanks farside05. I measure ph of water prior to feed and ph of the run off. Picture is the run off measuring at about 5.8-6 so maybe I’ll try to bump it up a bit. When I look at the chart it makes sense to go up a bit. Cal-mag looks like it would uptake better at a 6.5. Going up more doesn’t look like it will hurt much.

The lights are at about 15” but I just lowered them a few days ago but I’ll back them up a little bit.

Thanks again.
