That Dark Purple Auto is looking nice! I've been watching my purple plant develop too and it is so beautiful. Can I ask what size pot yours is in? Did you train her to keep em small or is the strain of a smaller variety?

She's in a shallow 2 gal, it's my first run with her but the next one will be in a deeper 3.5 gal like my SSA's, so hopefully she won't be as short

Ah I see. I read something that said Autoflowers begin their flowering when the main root hits the bottom of their container, maybe the fact that yours is shallow is the reason? Just speculating though

That's my thought. The first 2 were in shallower pot and the bb started flowering around day 17 and the dp was about day 20. The ssa is just over 3 weeks and still no signs of preflower, so I'm gonna stick with the deep ones

im beginning to think autos start to flower whenever they feel like based on topping maybe and because the one jh auto I have in the deepest pot 5 gallon and is the shortest and flowered the first and my other 2 auto plants that I topped flowered late. maybe because when you top you stunt the plant a bit?

and if that is the case I will be topping all of my autos from now on. (at a very young age ofcourse)

An auto topped or not will still start flower around the same time.if done young which dont fget is veg stage for an auto.then it dont really set it back that much
And topping makes for a bigger better plant with more dominant huge colas.its a win win.people are scared that autos have certain days to there life span.topping yea give it abit of a nudge but it will still veg for how long she needs and will begin to flower as normal.u dont belive it try it great to see more and more auto growers topping and not afraid to push autos to the limits.great work growers keep it up

Yeah beast, push that bush. Got some autos popping up for the first time as well. Wanna get all they can give, that's for sure. I've subbed both you cats so thanks ahead of time for all the killer tips...

Thanks Spart, picked up some deep 4 gal pots today to get ready for the automazar that's next up.

I've never soaked the seeds, just put them in a wet paper towel and slide them inside a small ziplock bag and check on them in about 3 days, but this one cracked real fast. I wasn't expecting to see her until today.

I usually soak in a glass for 24 hours, pour the water and seed into a paper towel, then slide the moist paper towel into a small ziploc bag on topnofnthe cable box.

Did this the other day, planted yesterday, and they had broken soil this morning when I checked .

i do this with cotton...i beieve have better results...always open...after that if it doesnt grow up it is humans mkistake...
